Wall installation
Takes a little while to install after you get everything situated, but itโs a great product it hides all the wires looks like it was professionally installed. Thanks.

Excellent product. Very straightforward install, and the included tools are quality also. Recommend buying fish tape alongside this if you're installing on an insulated wall.

Great wire management kit.
Wall wire management kit what is it and why would you use it !! Let get started. So a wire management kit allows you to hide all wiring from your tv, sound bar etc. This gives you a clean installation look keeping all wires in the wall plus giving you extra outlets witch are hid behind the devices. Now there are a lot of kit on the market so how do you choose the right kit for you, good question. Reviews are the best way to research a products, I'm a certified installation tech for over 30 years so i can pretty much install any kit. I chose this kit because my wife loves to help and get hands on and so this kit had great reviews and after watching a few videos on this product she felt she could handle this project. This kit is very simple to install and comes with all the tools required to complete the install. Some reviews commented on the hole saw not holding up not true, maybe they just got a defected one this happens. I recommend this kit for anyone installing a tv and sound bar on the wall and you want the look of a professional installation. Hope this helps.

Bad at cable management? Shove it in the wall!
For years my TV cabinet was plagued by cables EVERYWHERE. It looked terrible. Now my cables are just as messy, but they are inside the wall! Believe it or not, that is better. In all seriousness, this was a great buy. It was easy to install, I was able to cut through my 1" thick plaster with a $30 cordless drill I bought ten years ago. Well, the first hole did, the second the battery didnt quite hold up. Not the fault of the kit though. A wired drill buzzed right through. I didnt use the included drywall knife, instead I drilled a 1/2" hole and got a Sawzall blade in there and cut the rectangle that way. Much easier! Fishing cords was the worse part. Doing the lower outlet was fine, drop it and it went. Going up did not work at all. I stopped by a local store and bought a roll of steel fishing tape for $20. That made quick work of getting the upper outlet sent up, as well as various HDMI cables. I highly recommend that. Another tip, put your holes near a stud. I didnt do this intentionally, but it worked out nicely as I was able to aim the fishing tape at the stud which made it easy to grab.Be sure to get LONG cables. I bought a 10ft cable to go from the TV to the lower plug into my entertainment stand, and a 6ft cable to go from my soundbar into the entertainment stand. Neither was long enough. Keep in mind these cables are a pain to run, you want to do it once with the best cables you can get so you can forget about it for 10 years. I ultimately got 5 meter cables (about 16ft) which gave me some slack on both ends, and reused the 10ft cables to go from the soundbar.I would gladly install this kit again or use the similar kit without the soundbar attachment. My dad, who was acting as a pair of extra hands (and owner of many tools), was extremely impressed with the ease of use and professional looking end result. He has the classic outside the wall cable track setup on his TV and was considering picking one of these wall kits up after seeing how it turned out at my house.

Totally worth it!
This was fairly easy to install and comes with everything you need including the drill bit for making the right size hole. I love having my cables hidden and even hid the cables for my soundbar, which is now mounted to the wall as well. I would definitely purchase this again.

Works great with the Sonos Arc
Took the plunge on this cabling system even though Echogear's third party customer support agents were unable to answer basic questions about whether this product was compatible with the Sonos Arc's wall mount (I didn't want to use spacers for the Arc's wall mount to keep the look as clean as possible). It might be a good idea to actually have support agents get hands on with the products they need to provide information/answer questions about. To put this to rest, the recessed soundbar wall plate works PERFECTLY with the Sonos Arc wall mount - as if the two were designed for each other. It fits perfectly behind the mount to ensure a flush fit. With that said, I was extremely precise with measurements, using a laser-level, stud-finder, fish tape etc. to line all of this up and install this correctly. As the Echogear kit includes the hole saw and a hand saw required for cutting out the dry-wall, I was able to complete the entire wiring job in about 40 minutes. I used my own oscillator for the soundbar cut-out.Due to insulation behind the dry-wall, steel fish tape was crucial to get this done. The ROMAX cords are stiff and can be tricky to work with especially considering the large sockets at both ends. The cords come pre-wired to the soundbar wall plate, so you need to run a cable up (to the TV wall plate) and down (to the lower wall plate). But at least this meets NEC code for running power behind dry-wall.Wall mounted Ikea Besta cabinets finished off the install nicely to hide the cables and attached equipment from the lower wall plate. All-in-all, this easily achieves a pro install look, meets code (I think?!) without requiring an electrician. I recommend this product!
