The media could not be loaded. Is as advertised. It's some kind of porcelain or clay. Fragile but sturdy. Smaller than I had thought it was going to be in my head. So far it holds time accurately. Takes 1.5w AA batteries specifically. My cheap AAs wouldn't fit. The pendulum stops when battery is low. Also it's the easiest thing I've ever hung on a wall. It has little stubs to keep the mechanisms off the wall, also it's a bit abstract so I didn't have to worry too much about it being straight. The packaging also had a bunch of fiberglass all over it so I had to do a little cleaning after unboxing it.I love this thing. Every time I walk out and see this goofy cat I smile. Price was a bit steep I thought at first but I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. It also helps I've been wanting a pendulum cat clock since I was a kid.If you are on the fence like I was, I say go for it. Zero regrets.

The body is very solid and the artwork is nice.The clock hands and the moving “tail” are very fragileso be careful when installing the clock. It takes a standard AA battery and I used a lithium battery for longevity. It’s a standard AA battery clock mechanism.The hour and minute hands are large and a bit hard to read but this isn’t a clock for “time”, it’s an homage to the inherent goofiness of all cats.My wife liked it as a birthday present. It does not come with wall mounting hardware - you’re on your own.It was easy to hang using the small picture hooks seen in the photos. These hooks use what amounts to a small pin nail that leaves a very tiny hole in wall board.I preferred the security of the small pin nail over the“Hole-less” 3M wall removable adhesive wall hooks would probably work ok as well but I’m not sure. Both of those hangers are available on Amazon.It’s a cool clock. Hope that helps!

I am so glad i bought this for myself. Its of excellent quality, works as it should. Easy to hang.

This clock brings a smile to my face every time I see it. I love having it.

Though the clock is made of plastic, it has a nice solid feel to it. At first i could not get the clock mechanism to work but after fiddling with the battery, it works like a charm. My only regret is that I didn't give enough credit to a prior review which noted that it's hard to read. The minute and hour hands are so large it's difficult to distinguish the time. If I was braver, I would cut the red flourishes off the end and leave them pointed!

I love this cute little clock, it keeps the time perfectly, but that’s not why I purchased it. I love it so much I purchased the dog design for my sisters Christmas gift.. she’ll love it too. It’s sturdy, well designed and vibrant colors….. I have another I’ll purchase after the holidays

I absolutely love my quirky cat clock, it goes with my Alice in Wonderland theme in my kitchen, BUT-Sadly, it doesn't run right. It's a bit slow, so after setting it and letting it tick away, 1 week later the time is off by about an hour.I tried changing the batteries, I was hoping I just had a bad one from the battery factory. I didn't catch the issue for several weeks, so now I no longer have the box to send it back for a different one.If you buy one, just keep the box around a little longer to make sure it working properly.I do love the artwork, though!
