6.0 Inches Professional hair cutting thinning scissors set with razor (Black)

I was overdue for a haircut when the pandemic hit and stay-at-home orders took effect. Three months later and I was so frustrated with the mess on my head I was just about ready to buzz it all off. Instead, I spent hours watching YouTube videos on how to cut my own hair and everyone was using thinning shears to blend layers, making for a flawless cut that looked so easy to do. I mistakenly thought all scissors/shears are created equal and ordered a cheap set from Ebay, only to have that old adage "you get what you pay for" reinforced - they were such obvious junk I never even attempted to use them on my hair. This set wasn't that much more expensive, so I was a bit skeptical, but the reviews looked promising, so I figured I'd give them a shot, and I'm SO GLAD I did. I am by no means a hair cutting expert, though I've been trimming my husband's and son's hair for a couple of years, and hadn't attempted anything on my own head since I was a rebellious teenager several decades ago, but this set is FANTASTIC! I was able to give myself an outstanding pixie cut that looks like I paid a professional to do. The tools are sturdy, well balanced, and oh so very SHARP. Word of warning to those with chubby knuckles like mine: thinning shears do not know the difference between fingers and hair and will bite through either one with ease. Well worth the price as I expect to get a lot of use out of these.

I may add photo later. I want to say I have long hair down to my lower back. But I was tired of going to the salon and spending $50-60 every time I wanted a simple blunt trim. I have never cut my hair before FYI. I watched a youtube video to learn how.. And it worked super well! I got a very even straight across look in front and back. Learning how to cut your hair is it's own process but these scissors worked super well and the comb was useful. (I didn't need the other tool its just a bonus) The are clean, crisp, super sharp, and precise. I will use them for as long as they last which the quality is great so I assume for ever lol.

This set is beautiful as far as the coloring goes (I got the blue one) and the thinning shears are pretty great!However.. the actual shears? .. bad bad bad! The tips are EXTREMELY rounded and the set I was sent wasn’t sharpened correctly (honestly I would say 40% out of 100%) There is only about an inch of space on the shear blade I can use to cut and if I go past that it bends the hair like a mofo. The set I received does NOT do well on ethnic hair of ANY kind; it’s like tedious sawing thru the hair. The shears I received push the hair instead of cutting it, which is an obvious no-no, not safe and definitely not sharp as to what they should be.I have not used the razor yet so idk about that particularly in the set.I’m not surprised or upset considering the price, and I wasn’t expecting anything revolutionary lol. I’m just sayin, the I rest of the blade could have been sharpened quite a bit more.

These are a great starter set! I’ve become a YouTube researcher, at home hair dresser since the price of getting a hair cut in my area now rivals a car payment. Each of the scissors are so easy to use. My personal favorite, though is the razor. It gives my hair that “lived in” look that I like. It’s a slippery slope though so knowing when to put the scissors or razor down is a must! I’m currently rocking a bixie and bangs. Should’ve just stopped at the bixie but I’ve been in a toxic love hate spiral with bangs my whole life. They look good, but I’m just over it already, lol.

Beyond upset. I bought a cheap plastic double comb razor (short/long cut) from Walmart that worked wonders compared to this! I figured to give this a try, being it was made of metal (as I'm heavy handed/gripped). The grip wasn't a problem. The razor is a joke & that's what I bought this for. Tried the thinning shears and not at all a fan.Both myself as well as my pet are not in the least impressed - waste of money & I'd appreciate a return label mailed to my home so I may return this (as I received it yesterday) and get a refund.

I was skeptical about this set because of the cheap price but I just needed some new scissors to get me by until I can afford the expensive ones again. These scissors do not disappoint. They are comfortable to hold and they cut the hair like butter. The case is nice and convenient. The thinning shears and the razor are also very sharp and comfortable in the hand. I would definitely order again.

Bought them to cut my hair with. Did the job, very sharp (I ended up cutting myself twice bc I’m clumsy), love the case it comes in. I found it easy to use even though I’m inexperienced with cutting hair.
