I used this cream for a 3-hour tattoo session and it did noticeably dull the pain - it held strong for about four hours. That made the session way more bearable. One (very minor) downside for some is that texture is thick, and a bit tough to rub in smoothly, but I actually thought of this as a pro since it stayed on more easily. But be prepared to spend a minute getting an even layer on. Once that's done you're good to go!I also liked that it was non-greasy (didn’t leave any greasy residue), which I had been worried about. I appreciate that it’s got aloe vera in it to help soothe and hydrate the skin afterward - felt good during the healing process, even though it’s mostly about numbing.If you want a vegan, fragrance-free cream that actually blunts tattoo pain and hydrates your skin, this is a solid pick. Just be ready to massage it in thoroughly and wrap it properly. I’d give it a strong thumbs-up overall, with a small “but” - remember that careful application matters!

Getting my first tattoo on my arm felt surprisingly comfortable, thanks to a numbing cream. This product genuinely works, significantly reducing pain that I wouldn't have been able to stand. I highly recommend it for anyone, especially for a first tattoo. It made the experience much more enjoyable and less daunting!

Does not work. Applied this (liberally) 1 hour before getting a tattoo on my outer ankle area. There was zero relief/numbing. As I’ve had tattoos before I had a frame of reference.My tattoo artist recommended a different brand. He was surprised at this one being 5% which is supposed to be impossible to get outside of a medical setting. However it didn’t work at all.

I tried this cream right away and was pleased. It came securely packaged and safety sealed. It had a light scent and was very creamy. I followed the directions exactly and then had my eyebrows done. What a difference it was. My brows were numb and I felt nothing. Follow the directions, it will take an hour to do before your appointment. I told my husband we can get tattoos now! I wouldn’t do it without this cream!

It works really really well I lowkey doubt it’ll work because of all of the 1 star reviews I read after I bought it , but it works really well I would definitely buy it again. The size is really tiny but it works about an hour and 30 minutes for me , I had gotten a finger tattoo but that one wore off so that was the only one that hurt me , I put some on my leg too and wrapped it in a plastic wrap before my leg tattoo and i missed some parts to wrap but the part I didn’t wrap was still able to get numb so I don’t think you really need to wrap it in plastic.

This numbing cream works fabulously! I put on a very thick layer and wrapped the area (arm) firmly with plastic wrap. Left the wrap on for one hour. After removing the wrap I wiped off excess cream with paper towels. The arm was completely numb where I had placed the cream. It remained numb for six hours! Received a beautiful tattoo free of pain!!! Be sure to check with your artist for approval before your appointment. Some tattoo artists do not like to work on skin exposed to numbing creams due to the moisture saturation it causes within the skin.

Was honestly shocked that this actually numbed me up really good. Did it an hour before my tattoo and wow my whole upper arm is numb and made it so much easier for me! Love it!

Please do not waste your money, find something better. I order two, I had a a fairly large piece, from the shoulder to across my rib cage. My artist wrapped me up with numbing cream and waited for the time instructed. Parts that had some body fat were numb and anything else were not ! Even with “ body fat “ as soon as artists swiped ( clean area to rework) the numb was gone, I am talking 2 mins of numbness and pure pain after.
