Apple - HomePod mini - Blue (Renewed)

Siri starts talking at times when no one is even in the room. We have the small pod - doesn’t do much, it works for a couple home management items. We can set alarms, but only for a 24 hour advance time period. No repeating alarms. The pod we got was much less $$ than the more sophisticated model which offers more features, but nothing explains why the pod talks on its own about things we can’t even explain. We have two of these pods and both have the same flaws.

Love this product. The way it seamlessly interacts with my other Apple devices is on par with the excellence we expect from Apple. Excited to see what the Home Pod 2 is capable of but this is a solid device that puts other AI speakers to shame. Only con, all functionality controls run through Apple Home, which means the UI is lacking. Not as extendable as Alexa products but if you use Apple devices, this will fit right in.

Couldn’t get it to connect with the internet because there were no numbers or ways to identify it.

It wasn’t connected and the price is the same as new one.

So… It’s an apple product.If you operate within the Apple ecosystem, it’s kind of a needed device… but certainly flawed and far from what Apple should be putting out there

Don’t buy Apple devices from third party sellers on Amazon. Doesn’t work properly and you can’t buy an Apple warranty.
