Delicious boost of Energy!
If you’re an athlete, adventurer, or just someone who needs a quick energy boost during a busy day, Honey Stinger Salted Caramel Energy Gel could be a delicious and effective option. Known for combining natural ingredients with great taste, this energy gel delivers a burst of energy while keeping you fueled for longer periods.Flavor: The salted caramel flavor of this energy gel is a standout. It strikes a perfect balance between sweet and salty, offering a comforting, dessert-like taste without being overly sugary. The caramel flavor is rich, but the addition of salt gives it a savory twist that makes it enjoyable to consume during physical activity. Many users find it more palatable than other gels, which can sometimes have artificial or overly sweet flavors.Energy Boost: Honey Stinger’s energy gel is powered by natural honey, which provides a quick and sustained source of energy. The combination of honey with other ingredients like glucose and electrolytes ensures a fast boost without the dreaded sugar crash that some energy products can leave behind. The gel is designed to deliver an instant burst of energy, making it ideal for runners, cyclists, or anyone engaging in endurance activities. Plus, the addition of sodium helps replace the electrolytes lost through sweat, making it a good choice for hydration support during intense exercise.Texture and Ease of Use: The gel has a smooth, easy-to-swallow consistency that isn’t too thick or sticky, making it comfortable to consume while on the move. The packaging is convenient and compact, with a small pouch that’s easy to open during a workout or race. You won’t have to worry about fiddling with complicated packaging when you need a quick boost.Natural Ingredients: One of the standout features of Honey Stinger Energy Gel is its use of natural ingredients. The primary energy source is organic honey, which not only provides carbohydrates for fuel but also has trace amounts of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. There are no artificial flavors or preservatives, which is a big plus for those looking for a cleaner and more natural option.Performance and Effectiveness: Many athletes and fitness enthusiasts swear by Honey Stinger gels for providing a sustained source of energy during long workouts, races, or hikes. The gel is effective at staving off fatigue and providing a reliable source of quick energy when you need it most. It’s a great option for pre-race fuel or during long sessions where a quick pick-me-up is needed.Overall Verdict: Honey Stinger Salted Caramel Energy Gel is a top-notch energy gel that combines natural ingredients with great taste and effectiveness. Whether you’re training for a marathon, biking, or just need an energy boost during a busy day, this gel offers a convenient, delicious, and powerful option. Great for long distance runners!
Training for my first marathon, I’ve gone through a bunch of energy gels, and Honey Stinger has been one of the few I actually enjoy taking. The taste is surprisingly good (Fruit Smoothie and Vanilla are my favorites), and they don’t give me that weird aftertaste or stomach issues like some others. I usually take one every 45 minutes on long runs, and the energy boost feels steady without any crash. They’re easy to carry and go down smoothly even without much water. I haven’t tried the caffeinated ones yet, but I’m planning to test those soon for harder workouts. Top notch!

Yummy, tummy approved.
Super helpful easy to digest energy for long workouts, and allergy friendly for me as well! Tastes mostly like honey, the fruit flavor isn’t too strong, which I like. Could feel the impact of eating one within just a few minutes on my long bike ride today in the middle of my triathlon.

I would not recommend these energy gels
A couple of things to note. The packets were double boxed and arrived with no signs whatsoever of damage, yet one of the packets was leaking gel all over. I cleaned up the mess and it looks like I only lost one pack. It was leaking at a seam, presumably manufacturing defect. Amazon gave me a refund, so no problems there. Now, on to more important issues. These just don’t taste very good. I started using GU energy gels first and wanted to try the other leading brand. GU offers more flavors, they taste really great, and cause no digestive issues. The Honey Stingers, both flavors in this box, taste something like honey with a bad aftertaste. The higher caffeine one tastes worse, maybe because of the bitterness of caffeine. They also cause a little bit of digestive unpleasantness (I use them on an empty stomach pre-workout). Not recommended.

Marathon Training Essential!
I bought these Honey Stinger Organic Strawberry Kiwi goo poches for my husband, who is training for a marathon. He really likes these better than the gummies and finds them easy to use while on a run, helps keep energy and strength level up. While they are expensive, he says they are absolutely needed to be successful with long-distance training.
