picks up and RELEASES metal shavings !
This works EXCELLENT ! I can not believe that it actually releases metal shavings when pulled !! It'll pick up much larger items also

Avery good tool for cleaning up ferrous materials.
This magnetic pickup tool work very well. Easy to use, easy to offload the collected chips and filings. For anyone working with small ferrous materials it work extremely well. It is not strong enough for large ferrous components/parts.

Takes some practice to get used to, but works well
Had some trouble figuring how best to use this tool, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite useful. If anything, it could be a bit longer, and the magnet could be a bit stronger, but it works ok as is, so no major complaints. Sure does make cleaning up after a task cxonsiderably faster. Don't have to hunt around on the floor/ground for those screws and nails/bolts anymore, just run this thing across the ground/floor, and it does all the work for you. Very nicely done.
