If you want to save money not buying name brand items this is for you. It has the same active ingredient as many of the name brand items I looked at in stores but costs a lot less for more of the product to control itching.

Much cheaper than prescription ointment, and had the same effect.

I am a retired RN and years ago a doctor came up to me at work and askedto use my stethoscope and later he brought it back. I was busy and justput it around my neck. I made a costly mistake; I didn't wipe the ear budsoff with an alcohol prep. I had never had any problem with my ears, butsoon they started itching really bad, especially the right one. I realizedthat you NEVER use a stethoscope without cleaning the ear buds with analcohol prep. That was a long time ago, and I still have that extremeitching periodically and I use this cream and it helps to stop the itching.I put lots of it on a q tip and gently push it all the way to my eardrum. Idon't have to tell you to always be careful when going to the eardrum.

We use this as an antifungal cream on the persistent brown spots on our basset hound. This cream clears them up in a few days.
