This coin box fit is OEM. Instead of having a open holder now its closed. Its good to put change but I usually leave my ear buds in there and no worry about some criminal walking by looking in the window and thinking about smashing my window. Out of sight out of mind as they say

This does as expected...slips into place with ease and fills the odd little gap with a very useful "stuff" holder. I do use it for coins and I quite like how it can easily come out to empty an overly full container of coins. Sure, the top doesn't auto-close nor does it have a latch of any sort....but I don't mind that as when I am reaching for coins or putting coins in there, I don't have to fidget with it to keep it open and risk spilling the coins between the seats (like the last coin holder cup thing I had in that spot). I have already sorted how to add a spring closure to it if I were to decide I want that, but I think it will be unnecessary. I do wonder how the pads on the sides will hold up after repeatedly removing the cup and putting it back....time will tell.

Friction fit works perfectly. The lid is not a quality part of the product, it doesn’t snap shut but is functional.

Bought for our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, it's a perfect box for spare change or mints!!

Fits in the space great but the lid is flimsy and comes off easily.

My son got a 2022 Toyota Tundra and wanted this coin box as one of his Christmas gifts. I was surprised how good it looked and fit like it came with the pick up truck. He likes how easy it is to throw his coins in there when going thru a drive thru fast food restaurant and having them available for the next time.

This change box fits perfectly in the change holder (or whatever you use that odd cubby for). The fit is snug and the hinged lid keeps things in place. Trust me, your gen 3 Tacoma needs this.
