Really impressed
My partner and I both use this. Given it was under £60 and has the twist feature in the step, it has been excellent so far. the resistance bands are good quality also and need some effort to use, which is good as to me that this point of them in the overall exercise device.I have arthritis and enthisitis and am able to use this due to it being low impact on the joints. If you haven't used this type of stepper before it will take a little getting used too, I encourage people to stick with it as in the end it is worth it.Highly recommend

I am impressed
I am not impressed at all with the delivery of the item yesterday evening as this was left outside my doorstep despite giving instructions to the driver to leave next door with my next door neighbour. Secondly l tried to use my stepper machine this morning and noted the metal screw knob for the resistance band was damaged. Not having a great start with this item. Hopefully l am re ordering a new one and hope that it will be a better experience.

Excellent Stepper!

Works fine
Great for indoor winter workouts. There are no options to adjust height or level of difficulty, so be mindful of that. But overall works fine, good for the price range.

A reasonable way to keep active during the winter
I bought this to have some way to keep active during the winter months and bad weather as an alternative to going out running. I would have preferred a walking pad or treadmill to be able to get a more natural movement but I lack the space for something like that, so settled on a stepper. The unit is pretty hefty and doesn't move about on the floor (carpeted) with my 6 foot, 12 and a half stone frame on it and there's space around my size 10.5 feet as well, so it's suitable for a wide range of people. Being relatively active normally, I maxed out the resistance straight away and that's only just about enough for me. When first using the unit and it's cold, it is a little stiffer than once you get going and the mechanism warms up which seems to free it up slightly and makes the movement easier. Going at a fast enough pace does give enough of a workout to be felt once I stop and walk about normally so it does do something. It's a pretty quiet thing, only making notable noise when you reach the end of the travel on the unit which makes a small knocking noise. If I pick up the pace I do get a slightly disconcerting fluid noise and there has been the occasional squeak, but other than that it's pretty much silent which is good for use while watching something on TV.The on board computer is pretty much only useful for the timer, the step counter seems to undercount by about half, and without any body composition info, the calorie counter won't be particularly accurate.I haven't used the included resistance bands so I can't really pass any judgement on those.Overall, it's okay and does the job, I feel like I paid a fair price. If you have a reasonable level of fitness, chances are it will only just meet the level of challenge you need but on bad weather days it is a reasonable enough way to get the blood circulating.Edit, 30/12/24The stepper has developed an incredibly annoying groaning noise that occurs on both the up and down movements. It's quite loud as well, though I'm not sure how audible it is through walls or floors and it's putting me off using it. Pretty disappointing considering it's only about a month and a half old.Edit, 11/1/25Every time I use this thing, there's a new, unpleasant and irritating noise emitted from it. It doesn't matter what I do, quick or slow steps, warm or cold room, full steps or half steps, it squeals, squeaks, groans or something equally as annoying.Buy something else.

Great unless you have a flat
This is a great product to get your steps up but if you have a flat it does make noise through the floors so the people below will hear and get wound up. Not ideal!
