This is a very good trimmer for pre-teens as well as adults. It has a variety of attachments. My 12 year old loves it and she’s very comfortable using it. I would highly recommend this trimmer. This trimmer gives a very close shave that last for a couple of weeks.

The trimmer completely stopped working and is not charging. I barely used it since I bought it. It’s almost brand new yet not working and it’s only been 9 months since the purchase. It hasn’t lasted even a year. I’m very disappointed with this product.

Purchased this razor in preparation for my preteen who was expressing some interest in shaving her legs. Allowing her to make the choice, I told her to let me know when she was ready. 3 months after purchase, and only days before winter sports we're beginning, she decided she was now ready. She did not have any razor preference. Although I personally had little to no experience with using an electric razor, it seemed like a great option for a first timer. Her leg hairs are very dark and thick so I did have some concerns that she may experience some discomfort. But from her first dry shave to now (wet shaves sometimes), she has not ever complained of any pain or discomfort. Of note, nor has she experienced any sensitivity or itchiness. Using it is easy and simple and it definitely brought me ease knowing that I didn't have to worry about her nicking or cutting herself. It does not provide a smooth shave like a razor does. Personally, that is of most importance for me when I try different brands or razor styles. That being said, it is of no concern to my daughter. Ultimately, she feels more confident exposing her legs especially in the social situation. She's happy, so I am happy!

The up close blade doesn’t work, just pulls on the hair but doesn’t actually trim, but the smaller head works okay. I like the light on it, it makes it easier to see and use. It feels pretty sturdy and it’s relatively small. Might not recommend this though just because one of the heads doesn’t work at all.

This is a good razor for quick shaves. It does not get a super close shave but it is good when you just need a touch up. The charge lasts a long time and it is comfortable to use.

This trimmer/shaver set does it all if you treat it right! The bikini trimmer is perfect for trimming close to the skin, or leaving a bit of length by using the provided comb attachment with it. The larger shaver head is great for legs and underarms, as well as the main bikini area. The smaller rolling foil head is best for small touch ups and precision for spots you missed. No, you will not get a shave as close as a regular razor will give you, but this gets about as close as any electric razor will. It charges pretty quickly, too. NOTE: ALWAYS replace the plastic cap on the razor head after use! This will help protect it from any damage should it roll off the sink.

This product is fantastic, I had purchased from another vendor through another website a little over a year ago and the product practically fell apart with very little use.So buying another one I was looking for something affordable but had good reviews and trust Amazon for almost all of my purchases.This product is night and day better than what I had prior - Runs quiet, blades are very good, no irritation and feels smoother after a single use.The OLOV electric trimmer is hands down a great purchase… I rarely do a review but felt this product deserves it!
