This WolfBox level 2 charger is excellent. Sleek design and very easy to install (literally just plug it in). I have mine set to just plug and charge since it is inside my garage but it charges my Tesla with issues and having the availability of the RFID cards or bluetooth are excellent to have for the future is I am in a position where it needs to be installed outside. When not in use the charger draws very minimal power (~12v @ nearly 0A), mostly just keeping the display and LED awake so it isn't wasting nearly any electricity when not in use.

There were so many chargers to choose from & i had no idea which one to go with. This charger is GREAT! It has a little screen on the charger telling you its charging, with amps and volts and has an app that gives you all kinds of cool info; elec. cost, time to charge, past data, etc. I am really happy with this charger. The initial start-up for me was finicky, so i called there support line and they hooked me up perfectly.

This works perfectly as a basic EV charger, and is a very good price for what you get, especially with a coupon. Apart from the function of a basic EV charger, I did have some complaints about other features. Connection to Wifi took a few attempts, and can be tricky using provided instructions, but worked reliably after that.My biggest complaint is none of the other functionality really works as one would logically expect. For example the RFID card has to be swiped to start charging if enabled, great. Instead of switching off the charger when that charging session has stopped, the charger remains active until you swipe the RFID card again to turn it off. Meaning if this was in a public location, anyone could unplug your car and start charging theirs until you noticed. The "time of use charging" is next to useless, this really irritated me being on a time of use electric billing plan... Your EV must be plugged in *before* the TOU window is programmed to start. Set this to charge from 4PM-9PM, and get home around 5, too bad you're out of luck till the next day unless you go dig up the mobile app on your phone and manually switch it on. Start charging, then unplug to run to the store for 15 min? Charger switches off till the next day again the moment you unplug. Both of these issues seem like they should be pretty easy to fix with a firmware/mobile app update, but until then I would not recommend buying this if these two features are important to you.That being said their customer support and commitment to quality is good. They reached out directly to make sure I was happy with my purchase, and even though they couldn't not fix these issues, they did offer me a refund.

Not the most important thing, but it is toward the front of my house, so it's nice that it looks techie good. Very well-made materials, excellent customer support

I can't say anything about longevity, yet. However, I can say this is fairly simple. You'll use Bluetooth to connect to the device through the device app. Once you've done that, it'll prompt you for a password to get on your Wi-Fi. Make sure you have permissions for detecting the locations of nearby devices. This can hold you up.After that, it was easy to setup a charging schedule. You'll pick the time of day and the days of the week. I forgot to select the days at first and wasn't sure why it wasn't working. Clearly this was operator error.It mounts to the wall easily, and it does a great job charging the car up. It also feels very well made. I would definitely recommend this charger.

Straight forward install, works as advertised 3 months in, no problems !

I have been an EV owner for 10 years. I purchased a home Level 2 charger at the time of buying my first EV. It was installed in the garage and was connected to power using a NEMA 14-50 J1772 with a 50amp breaker. It worked just fine for 10 years, but the release button on the charging plug broke and I found it not worth the expense to replace the plug and cable. I found this Wolfbox on Amazon and was impressed with the features and the price, plus it had WiFi with an app to control/schedule which was not on my previous product. It installed very easily. You will note in the picture below I mounted it at a 45 degree angle on the wall to accommodate using a wall stud for mounting and positioning of the NEMA plug and cord. It is solidly made and I really like the hard rubber charging plug. The app was easy to understand and configure the Wolfbox. I really like the ease of scheduling the charging through the app and the charging history and cost data it records. For future app enhancements, I would like to see the ability to accommodate multiple EV charging histories (I have 2), and to download the history information. A great product from cost/performance/ease of installation/features perspectives. BTW, the 25' charging cable is a plus for me.

This works great installed in our home garage for charging our KIA Plug in Electric Hybrid. I am not sure if they are all like this but ours came with some cards that we have to swipe to activate the charging. We may have made a mistake in selecting this particular model when we were buying it. The cards work great but I am afraid they might get misplaced and then what? I think this model might be designed for apartments or other more public installations where you want to limit the usage or track individual charges. Otherwise works great, charges quickly.
