One of the Best WiFi Extenders for Multi-Floor Homes
I’ve been using this WiFi extender for the past few days, and it has been working flawlessly. Setup was smooth, and so far, I haven’t faced any issues. The extender provides strong coverage in dead zones and maintains a decent speed. As expected, performance depends on how far you place the extender from your main router. In my setup, the router is on the first floor while the extender is on the ground floor. On the 5GHz band, I’m consistently getting around 80% of the original speed, which is impressive for an extender. Naturally, if the extender is placed farther from the router, speed will reduce, but within a reasonable range, it works very well. You can also set the same SSID as your main router, so devices automatically connect to the strongest signal while moving between floorsSo far, it’s one of the best products I’ve used, and I’ll continue to monitor its performance over the year.Important Note on MAC Filtering:If you’re using MAC filtering on your primary router, you must add the extender’s MAC addresses for both bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz) since the extender uses separate MAC addresses for each band.Additionally, you need to manually configure MAC filtering on the extender itself. Applying MAC filtering only on the main router is not enough, because users can still connect through the extender even if the filter is active on the router. Enabling MAC filtering on both the router and extender ensures that unauthorized devices cannot access your network.

It’s pretty good and gives nice speeds, but it slows down the main router a bit.

Works well as intended
Works well, setup is easy and the whole thing is small and compact. Dual band allows the router to increase the speeds which is nice, coming from a 2.4 ghz extendor

Total convenience and worth it!
This is one of the best consumer model Wi-Fi extenders money can buy and probably the best in the segment!Since months of using it, I have never experienced signal drop even once and the device won't enter stand-by unless you configure it to do so. I'd have loved the LED Indicators (blue color) to be designed on its front panel but they are on the top section which is hard to see when plugged in to a wall-socket.It has the Power, WiFi, 2.4 GHz, and 5 GHz indicator LEDs on it and they all light up blue while working depending on your configuration. You may choose to enable either or both bands in settings and they both work refreshingly well.Connecting to the extender is straight-forward via WiFi for first time setup and once you change the SSID and passwords to match your existing WiFi network, it instantly blends with the network; WPS button is available too!It also has an RJ45 output if you fancy to connect a device via LAN cable. I've not used it yet but I intend to.Boot time takes a minute but once it loads up, you forget that it exists as it is not a device you have to shutdown or restart constantly. So far I have connected to both bands and both work as if they belong to the router and not the extender - very minimal bandwidth loss and the speeds of the 5 GHz band took me by surprise - almost 90% of what I get from the router while 2.4 GHz remains slow like it always is.The best part is, the 5 GHz range on this device is much powerful than it is on my TP Link router and it covers the entire 1200 Sq ft without breaking a sweat; personally I have used it throughout the house and there are no blind spots at all and my router is actually on the first floor while the range extender is in the ground floor house. The house has good ventilation and the device has not overheated so far which adds to good performance. I don't know whether this is value for money in general but it is definitely worth having this WiFi range extender. Also if your walls covered in light shade paint, this blends in perfectly (more so if the walls are white shaded); it is as if there is nothing there and it is tiny!

Not very effective as an extender
Bought this product hoping to get rid of wifi dead zones in my home. The product looks smart and quite small and easy to configure. However I didn’t see any better wifi coverage through my house, which is on one floor, after installing TP Link extender. My main router is in central hallway of the house but two bedrooms next to each other don’t get strong wifi signal. With this extender, I don’t see any better wifi coverage even though extender shows strong signal. I am trying different location but don’t see any appreciable difference.I won’t recommend this product.

Worst choice for Wifi Extender
The Product is really bad at performance. Its unable to keep a continous flow of network and the internet keeps disconnecting even when being connected to original router works fine. And the worst part is, the router is within 15 feet of this extender and yet it's performance is this bad. Hate it.

Good wifi extender but gets hot
Good wifi extender. 4 stars because it gets hot during operation. I hope the heat does not reduce the lifespan of the device.
