Interesting unique flavor
I ate at a Moroccan restaurant once, and loved the unique flavor (this reminded me of it, but it’s been so long ago it’s hard to remember).. I first time I sprinkled some on, and it didn’t work out. The second time I slow cook some vegetables, and it worked very well.BRAISE:ADD water, olive oil, butter moroccan spice (next time I will try some chicken stock, or a ham base broth)..(only enough water to initially/partially steam vegetables, and then evaporate).Heat & stir until the seasoning mix’s in to the liquid.Veg in enamel saucepan (1/2” water boiled about 5-minutes to steam,,, take lid off to let water evaporate)..Once enough water evaporates put the lid back on and slow cook for at least 20 minutes I think (for the flavors to permeate the vegetables).The vegetables will give up a little bit of water to add to the oils which makes a broth for slow cooking.Taste test, then when ready remove the vegetables, turn up the heat and reduce the remaining liquid..IMHO, reducing the broth it’s like a secret weapon to make vegetables yummy.This will concentrate the flavors; taste test again, and pour the gravy onto the vegetables when it’s ready.Add salt, or whatever you like (chervil, parsley, etc.).. I think next time I might try a Fresh dollop of butter or a splash of olive oil.

We are in love!
This stuff is good on anything, We used it on hamburgers and it made some of the best we’ve had. Oddly enough it goes well with bbq sauce too. I think we may try ribs next. It’s very fragrant and flavorful.

Newly acquired taste.
Seasoning work in or on meats and veggies. Made a delicious omelet with 2 eggs, diced sweet yellow pepper , small baby spinach, a dusty of ras el hanout, salt, and black pepper .Topped it with slices of cherry tomatoes, polka dots of cream cheese (used 1 tbl total.), and very light sprinkle of parsley for color. Yummy! Love this spice so much.Geanne

Perfect for so many recipes.
I make lots of soup recipes especially in winter, and this spice can be added to just about any recipe I make. I also tried it in a Turkey meatball mix and it was delicious.

NON GMO, NO CHEMICALS!
I’ve never had RAS EL HANOUT before but This Spice is BURSTING with FLAVORS! FRESH and DELICIOUS! 😋I’m grateful that it is an EBT item.
