I am addicted to this brand. Finally found a smooth version of almond butter. There isn’t any oil in the jar which is great and it goes on my rice cakes smoothly. As you get closer to the bottom of the jar it doesn't appear to be less smooth and is chunky but that just reminds me to order another jar. I buy one at least once a week.

Finally someone took the skins off the almonds before turning it into almond butter!!! The skins affect both the look and the taste. This almond butter however, stands head and shoulders above them all! Rich, creamy and roasted to perfection, it almost tastes like peanut butter. It’s so good. I’ve used this almond butter to make the Thai-inspired peanut satay sauce (subbing almond butter for peanut butter, of course), almond butter cookies (using a peanut butter cookie recipe), almond butter brownies, etc… I would imagine you could use this almond butter exactly as you would peanut butter. I cautiously bought one just to see if I would like it. It was so fresh tasting and delicious I immediately went back on Amazon and bought 3 more! I prefer the creamy almond butter, just my preference. Prior to this almond butter, I’d decided I didn’t like almond butter and mourned the fact I could eat peanut butter anymore. In walks Barney’s almond butter…. a game changer in my opinion. This is NOT a paid promotion, it’s my honest opinion. Try it for yourself!

If you need a sign to purchase this, here it is! This is my first time trying almond butter and I think I’m addicted now lol! I’m not a huge fan of peanut butter so I didn’t think I would like almond butter but this stuff is absolutely delicious. I purchased the smooth and plan to purchase the bare smooth also since it’s healthier. So far, I’ve put it in my smoothie and I’ve ate it with some dates. I don’t even care for dates, but this almond butter made it so good for a quick snack.
