I needed a cheap sleeve for storing an old MacBook Pro, and this was the best deal/reviews combo. I can't speak to how well it would protect something in a bag or in a drop, but I can say it fits a 2009 15" MacBook Pro just fine for storing it away safely.

Beautiful dark blue color. Thick, firm padding. However one of the two zippers does not work well; it moves one way ok but has difficulty moving in other direction. Will mark this zipper with some black electric tape to remind it's the flawed zipper and just use the other zipr. will keep.

I've bought 2 different sizes of this laptop sleeve. It's $10. Don't expect an expensive laptop case for $10. If you want a laptop sleeve to protect your laptop from being scratched in your bag- this is the cheap, inexpensive laptop sleeve for you. Reviewers expecting more than a foam sleeve are unrealistic. It's 10 bucks. You get what you pay for. It's perfectly fine if you don't expect it to be some sort of protection from dropping or damaging your laptop in a fall.
