Reliable controller that looks good
I got this controller after the trigger on my old one broke. This one has a lot of available color schemes that all look good, and I chose the mint/orange. The buttons are all clicky, except for the trigger buttons that are just linear. The D-pad importantly isn't mushy like some other controllers, and it provides a nice tactile feel when pressed. The controller has good, strong rumble. The outer shell feels decent and not cheap and hollow like my old controller, and the joysticks have nice grips. The size is a bit smaller though, about the size of a Switch Pro controller joystick grip. I was decently surprised by the metal connecting the joysticks to the body of the controller, which looks high-quality. The 2.4G connector has no latency when I connect it to my PC, but I haven't tried it on my Switch or on Bluetooth mode. Overall, a great product!

Solid but basic controller.
This is a very nice controller for the price. You do give up the dock and Nintendo Switch compatibility of some of the more expensive versions, but for a gaming PC, it's a great option. After several hours of play, primarily on Forza Horizon 5 and Oblivion Remastered, it has worked well and feels a bit tighter and more responsive than the tired launch edition Xbox One controller it is replacing. Throttle response is good in Forza and button presses are reliable and quick.PositivesFeels like a first party controller. Solid, with good button and stick feel. I'm not a D pad guy, so that doesn't really worry me. Battery life seems good, but I haven't really tested it for more than a couple hours at one time. Charging is only through a Type C USB cable and there is no provision to use the dock from the higher tier versions of the controller. The 2.4ghz dongle works seamlessly as it should.Negatives.There is no customizability available through the company's software. The software will only update the firmware on this version. The two extra R4 and L4 buttons can only be programmed on the controller and don't seem to show up in Windows, pressing them in game setup doesn't allow you to map them in the games I've tried. It's not difficult to program them on the controller, but you can't use them for extra game specific shortcut buttons, etc.The general shape of the controller may also not work for some people. The grip handles are much closer to 90 degrees than the more outswept grips of the Xbox controller this replaced. The distance from the top of the stick to the back of the controller is also deeper than an Xbox controller, which is more cut out on the back.

EXCELLENT At This Price Point
So after playing for about 6 hours my initial thoughts are, "this is $26!?". Excellent quality very similar to other 8BitDo products. Feels the same as the Ultimate C Wired Controller For Xbox. The dongle works with the MagicNS for switch, blu-tooth connected and stayed connected without issues. The extra R and L buttons don't get in the way but are great for something like quick saving and loading or fast forward and rewind on emulators. The basic button commands to turn on "Turbo" or "Auto-Turbo" modes work pretty intuitively. Overall this is just a damn well made "budget" controller.

Works Great with SteamDeck!
I wanted a controller that I could simply plug and play without the hassle of pairing or configuring. This controller fits that bill: just plug in the USB-A dongle, and it works out of the box. It also supports Bluetooth if your device does not have a USB-A port, and the battery lasts for several days—charging via a USB-C port. This controller offers great value for the money; however, I do have some complaints. The extra buttons are a bit of a hassle if you want to configure them—they function more as macro buttons that you can program to simulate other functions rather than as additional buttons. Also, when using the USB dongle, there’s no way to determine how much battery life remains. Finally, the controller sometimes sends a ghost signal: the menu button (the equivalent of the Xbox or PlayStation button) is activated even when no buttons are pressed, bringing up the game menu. This could be problematic during a multiplayer game that does not pause when the menu appears.Otherwise, the controller works well, is comfortable to use, and works great with the SteamDeck!

Great budget controller for Steam Deck!
The media could not be loaded. Both of Playstation 4 DS4 controllers always seemed to have trouble with latency when I connected to my Steam Deck using Bluetooth. I wanted a 2.4G USB dongle and gave 8BitDo's USB Adapter 2 a try, which worked OK with my DS4s, but they would still have weird connection issues.I also used 8BitDo's Gamecube controller adapter for the Nintendo Switch, and I think their design philosophy and products are great! I ordered the Ultimate 2C contoller (I love the mint/orange color combination, so fun!) and so far, it works great after only plugging in the matching USB dongle. The controller is maybe a little small, but my hands are medium to large, and it only becomes uncomfortable after holding down the back triggers for an extended period. Other than that, I like the fit. The thumb sticks are also very solid and feel quality. They feel like they won't wear away or fade, at least not immediately. For a budget controller, I am very happy with the look, feel and control.
