Connected perfectly
I bought a new tv and decided to change my soundbar to this Samsung sound bar. I switched the tv and sound bar and automatically connected to Q Symphony. Brilliant, everything work perfectly, lip sync was excellent. I purchased the white version because it was exactly the same as the black but a lot lower in price, only an idiot would buy a speaker and pay nearly £200 more for a specific colour. The reviews are not wrong, this sound bar is absolutely fantastic. Well worth the money. Update to my review, for the people who have problem with WiFi. I found deep on the internet the link to Alexa was maybe a problem, and smart things app. I deleted from Alexa, removed the smart things app, and found that a 30 second press on the remote channels button, bottom right on the remote turns off WiFi on the sound bar. I don’t need WiFi on the sound bar and it’s been on for a week now. The remote switches on the tv and the sound bar with my settings which are with HDMI-eARC. There is no information how to switch off WiFi in the user guide but that’s how you do it. This is a great soundbar and certainly worth the effort to get it right for your setup. ENJOY.

Worthwhile addition to current model Samsung TV
Good quality sound out of the box when linked to the tv speakers of a current Samsung model. Many options available requiring some experimentation to achieve optimum results. Difficult at times to hear the voice 'commentary' over the program sound when selecting options but this is a minor niggle. Voice enhancement really works and no need to use the dedicated remote once variables are set up. Switches to on and standby using the TV remote. May invest in their subwoofer for ultimate bass later on!

Compact, efficient and effective
Compact, clean lines, easy set up and a quality brand. But it's the sound that counts. It's good, once you've played with a few settings. The ability to combine sound with the tv is great.Plus to be able to blue tooth as a smart speaker has had more use than I'd predicted. Not cheap, but so far worth it to bring rich dounds and cinema to my small screen.

Great sound and looks. Better value than the Beam.
I have a Sonos beam on another TV and it is very good. I wanted something to complement a new 65 inch ambilight tv. Sonos beam is now £400+ so I looked at other makes. Glad I chose the Samsung. Looks as good and sounds fantastic. On films the breadth of sound is brilliant. Highly recommended.

Great sound, flawless connectivity
I'm using it mainly for home cinema and I'm really impressed with the sound. I didn't expect that it will be so good for such a price. It's connected by a cable to Samsung projector and works flawlessly. Once set up, you can forget it's there, as it doesn't require any maintenance and powering on separately. Also I love the Bluetooth connectivity, which allows to switch the sound from your phone/computer to the soundbar, perfect when you want just to listen to the music.

Truly impressive, rich sound, but...
This is a very impressive soundbar, with an excellent range and frequency response and plenty of power. No need to feed the TV's output through my hi-fi system with its Focal speakers and sub woofer. This unit replaces a recently purchased Majority Teton soundbar that wasn't bad, but could be boomy with voice at times. Choosing adaptive output on the Samsung is excellent. The instructions are brief, so I downloaded the manual, which is a mixed blessing. References to an LED display on the soundbar are puzzling, since you never get to see them! Only once have they appeared which was when I phoned Amazon to find out if this was normal. I was connected to a techie in the Philippines who assured me the non appearance of lights was quite normal and since the soundbar is otherwise working well, I decided to leave it at that. There is no on/standby light on the SB6, unlike its Majority predecessor, so there is no visible way to tell whether it's on or off. Not a big deal, but the LEDs that are supposed to confirm a change of function don't light up though, so you have no way of knowing, except for the voice confirmation, which you may not be able to hear over the sound from what you are watching. On the whole I have decided that the good outweighs the slightly irritating and that I will keep the soundbar and not return it. Perhaps it will correct itself in a WiFi firmware upgrade at some point. I miss the on/off indication, however, which slightly takes the shine off what is otherwise an excellent product.
