helps with my psoriasis build up a lot!! the shampoo is very lather-able! it doesn’t help much with my itching but definitely helps with flaking! the bottle is huge and a great value for sure!! smells absolutely terrible but that’s expected from the tar they use!!

This stuff works. Yes the scent is very strong and even after washing with scented shampoo afterwards you'll still be able to pickup on the scent of it from up close but honestly it's worth it for me because nothing had worked before and finally I barely have dandruff!! and after reading through many reviews I use jojoba oil on my scalp an hour before washing so maybe that's helped too. I used to have so much dandruff patches caked onto the edges of my hairline it was very visible and hard to hide/embarrassing and it's gone after just a couple uses!!!

I purchased this shampoo not for my scalp, but for my face. I have a slight case of “face dandruff”, and the cold and super dry winter weather has made the flakiness so much worse. I lathered this onto the most flaky spots on my face (forehead, eyebrows, and nose), let it sit for a minute or so, and rinsed. The first time I used it the flakes were gone! It’s been a few days and the flakes are STILL gone. I’m pretty stoked about that!Ok so here’s the bad part - the smell. It smells like old motor oil. It’s horrendous. But I’m willing to overlook that because it works. And even with the smell I’m still giving it 5 stars just for the effectiveness.

Well the saddest day was finding out that T-Gel discontinued their shampoo. I stumbled upon these in my quest to find an alternative. It smells the same, it's cheaper, it lather's up better and it sort of does what the T-Gel version did? It helps with my itchy scalp but not as effectively as T-Gel did or maybe not as immediately. I can't fault the product too much and would have to compare ingredients to see how different they are but as the only option I could find for a reasonable price this is a good product.

Many people on here have complained about how much it smells, but people, it's tar shampoo - it's going to stink. What matters is whether it works or not. It works incredibly well for me. I used to use prescription shampoo for my dandruff, but this works really well. When I first got it, I used it every day for a week (for 30 minutes a day). Now I'm down to maintenance and do it twice a week. So, yes, it smells, but it works well and keeps the dandruff at bay.

It's difficult dealing with Psoriasis and taking care of it. We were looking at the brand name shampoo and the price was very high. We took a chance on the Amazon brand and can't even tell a difference. This one works just as well as the pricey version. Helps control flakes and itching. We will continue purchasing the Amazon version!

This is a good product. It relieves itching for a long while, and for my short hair the odor disappears quickly.
