These were surprisingly effective, I had a gas spill in my attached garage and nothing was working and permeating into the main living house, a very high CFM fan, blower and keeping doors open for hours was ineffective at removing the smell that got in the insulation. This completely get rid of the smell after I hung up a couple of these with an oscilating fan, and within 24 hours it removed the VOC's / Gasoline smell from my attached garage. Super impressed, and i put some in some old-house smelling areas in the basement and it helped with that too, keeping the air moving is important.

I bought theses for my rubber clinic clogs and locker. Due to the rubber material of these shoes, when my feet sweat, as they do, the moisture gets trapped inside and it is not nice to take them off. Since putting these in my shoes and hanging a couple in my locker, the smell is gone. The packets seem to neutralize the smell as they are supposed to. I like that they each come with a metal S hook as well.

Grocery pickup guy put all my meats in a random cool bag I had in the back of my SUV, & I didn't see. So I went back to the grocery & they gave me replacement meats. Two days later (in Texas summer!) my car smelled liked death!!! I discovered the rotted meat & immediately tried various items to remove the smell. Nothing worked, so I tried these charcoal baggies. Kind of a pain to charge in the sun for an hour, & to recharge as needed. But-after a few days, the smell diminished quite a bit. It took another month for the smell to completely dissipate, so this worked, but not a quicklyas advertised.

Definitely works, Price is better than others I have found.Use them for quite funky mountain bike shoes, and they are effective.

Honestly I can’t really tell if they work, but I do put them out in the sun to refresh them. It is a bit pricey for the amount of charcoal you get it does come pre wrapped and includes a hook things to at you can hang from the grommet. I would probably be happy with a big jar of activated charcoal where I can use coffee filters to make sachets. Hope this helps!

These actually work! I couldn’t believe it! So much so, that I bought some for my elderly parents home and daughters home. These packs do not ‘immediately’ absorb smells. After 24-48 hours, they’re just magically gone! Dog smell? Gone. Urine smell (pet and human)? Gone. Musty smell? Gone. A larger room or stronger odors need multiple packs. I tossed them under beds, next to trash cans; just amazing. I haven’t had to sun charge them yet and it’s been three weeks.

Really love these! Bought similar ones years ago at the Container Store years ago. Thankful for Amazon! They fit well in all shoes: I have mine in my sneakers, Isle Jacobsen slid on shoes and my ankle boots. It is nice that they have a grommet so you can tie a ribbon or string to use in higher length boots. Will be buying some more! Very pleased!

Those are the Adidas Climacool 3-D printed shoes. They're made with polyurethane and they absolutely stink to high heaven. I ordered 3 pairs of the slip ons, 2 pairs of the laced ones, and they ALL could individually stink up a 2500 square-foot house.I scrubbed them with a brush using Dawn foaming soap and it helped a little bit. Then I got these activated charcoal inserts. Then I got that shoe spray. I'm not a fan of my shoes smelling like anything, but if they have to smell like something, I would rather have them smell like the spray then smell like the VOC (Volatile organic compounds) gas emitted from polyurethane. Hopefully these activated charcoal insert will eventually get rid of both smells and they will end up smelling like nothing.(size up, but you're still gonna need shoe stretchers if you have wide feet)
