40 Years of Scream!: The Archival Collection

Got this comic series as a child and was gutted when it was cancelled. I kept the original comics for years but over the years the paper degraded and they eventually fell apart. This book has all the original issues and some interesting facts from behind the scenes. For a fan I would easily recommend

Amazing collection of all the Scream comics in one edition and even though I own all of the original comics I still felt that this was an important purchase to have them all in one place and nicely printed.Excellent print quality and i picked it up at a great price that came very well packed (not sloping around in a a large box that's happened in the past but carefully wrapped in two boxes).Very happy purchase.

Scream was one of the great British comics of the 80s, and ever since it's unfair demise on issue 15 fans have been wanting reprints of these great strips. This collection does not disappoint.Collecting all 15 fangtastic issues this is a large volume. The paper is thick and glossy, the reprints clear with inky blacks and the whole thing feels solid and of high quality.The strips themselves are great, as they always were. Beautiful art, spooky stories and creeps.Exactly what fans wanted.Now, if only the weekly comic would return, but I fear it would be watered down somewhat in this day and age.This is a beautiful book. Scream fans will love it. It was my favourite comic then and this is my favorite collection now. Highly recommended.

A brilliant release.My original, old copies are so well worn, many are falling to pieces; so it's lovely to get this collection. Really well printed, quality inks (especially the deep blacks), with the reproduced art clearer than ever on good, glossy paper stock.Very hefty.My only complaint (and it's a genuine disappointment because this would be perfect and comprehensive otherwise, is the absence of the Holiday Specials).A great book, though, and a lovely trip back.

As soon as I I opened the parcel,I knew it was a perfect purchase.Just looking through,and seeing the reproduction covers and I was instantly 8 years old again. I used to rush to the shop every week with my 22p to buy every issue.An absolutely fantastic quality book that every Scream fan should own.
