high-quality jacket; maneuverable
I recently set up my home theatre area for surround sound. The room is open on one side, so I had to run both rear channels around the left side. I used this GearIt 14-4 cable to go from the front of the room to the left-rear low voltage box. I attached two of the wires to the LR jack, and also inside the panel connected the other two conductors to a 14-2 cable to run to the RR jack. I appreciated the convenience of only having to run one set of wires through the holes in the studs (this was a finished basement, and I only cut a 2" window at the base of the drywall to work in). 14 gauge OFC is a bit of overkill for this short run, but better over- than under-. I was very pleased with this product, and my speakers sound great.

Set it and Forget it…
After careful examination I have found that this outdoor wire is pure oxygen free copper. As a warning if you’re looking at cheaper offerings out there, head my warning and don’t ever get copper clad aluminum wire! I have heard some experts say that it can be a fire hazard especially in high resistance applications found in smaller gauges that are found m in household wires such as CAT cable and speaker wiring! So if you’re doing any sort electrical or audio work and you have a high powered speaker system you need pure copper. Oxygen free is even better. At this price, I don’t think you’ll be hurting to get some quality waterproof outdoor wire for your projects especially for 14 gauge wire! Unheard of till recently. I’m going to use this in a Jeep build I’m working on for electrical and audio wiring. After seeing it and examining the wire thoroughly, I trust my vehicle and family will be safe when charting the great unknown. The best things in life are sometimes the ones you don’t have to think about. For everyone who’s hesitant about it, I can assure you this wire will be one of those good things in life that you will contentedly forget about. Just set it and forget it!

Great for wiring Dolby Atmos!
I needed OFC 14AWG 4-conductor wire to run to my front Dolby Atmos enabled speakers which require four speaker wires per run. A heavy duty jacket protects the four speaker wires inside, which has four color coded 14AWG wires. I cut the 20' length in half and it was the perfect length for my front LR and LR Atmos height speakers. I put banana plug connectors on the ends of all, and it was simply a plug and play affair. Sound quality was great, don't hesitate to order this brand of speaker wire, it's just as good as Monoprice wire.

Heavy duty sheathed coil of 14/4 copper wire.
This cable is definitely meant for outdoor use. I liked that the sheathing is thick and durable. The wires inside are very flexible and easy to work with. I used this to add a couple of outlet boxes in my walls so far and plan to use up the rest wiring electrical boxes in my backyard. Pretty happy with the quality of this and will check this listing out for longer lengths before running to the big box stores next time.

Solid copper, nice jacket to protect it
Performance on this wiring is solid - it's actual copper all the way through, which might be excessive for some -- but I like better than the CCA wiring that is so prevalent now.The jacket that the two pairs are contained in is pretty robust, and hoping it will hold up to exterior usage (it seems like it will). I'm still planning the exterior speaker run this will support long-term, but it also looks like it would also work well for automotive or lighting control in an exterior environment.
