Everyone needs a brayer for fabric if they have a cricut. This one works great. I am still waiting for mine but I used this exact one at my sisters house last year. I stupidly didn’t request the 4am-7am delivery thinking anytime during the next day would work. Apparently this sets a “not urgent” flag or something because it has turned into by 9pm in 2 days delivered by post office. I really needed it by tonight so I can meet a deadline for a present. Oh well.

After doing a lot of research, I finally broke down and bought a Cricut, but found when researching I likely wouldn't need or use all the tools in the Cricut tool set so opted for only 3 tools I thought I would need and bought them separately. This brayer was one and IMO is a must have . Not only does it ensure firm adhesion of the vinyl to the mat, it will actually extend the life of the mat (this info found in my research). The quality of this brayer is really good. It's durable and comfortable to hold and easy to easy to use - much more so than even the XL scraper. I think the price is a bit high, but hey, it's got that name brand on the handle and it is the prettiest one out there (believe me, I looked at all of them). If you're going for Cricut tool must haves, this tops my list because you can get other needed tools cheaper or even at the dollar store - dollar store pin pickers are excellent for weeding, BTW. I haven't even used the Cricut weeder I bought. Put this at the top of your list for needed tools.

Works very well, makes doing projects so much easier

I couldn't not get this Cricut brayer when it was 50% off. I was already thinking of ordering a brayer anyways, just not the Cricut brand because your just paying for the brand. However, when I saw it was on sale, I decided to get it and can't be any happier. It makes vinyl application so much easier.

I like that this brayer seems sturdier than my old one (cheap brand that fell apart). I haven't had a chance to use this one as yet, but will in the next couple of days. I trust that the Cricut brand will hold up better. It looks like the roller is more secure than the other one and, hopefully, will stay where it belongs. I trust the Cricut brand.
