Absolutely Gorgeous Paper Models to Make!
I've only just received this so not made anything yet,but as I am a big fan of the architect Frank Lloyd Wright and the beautiful buildings he designed, it's a huge pleasure just to look at the gorgeous designs and learn something about the buildings they represent. The paper models don't look to difficult to make;each model has a template in the book that you can remove and use, with the tricky parts pre-cut for you, or ,if you want to keep the book intact you can scan or copy the templates and print them out.At the moment I'm just looking in wonder; Marc Hagan-Guirey has crafted something that is a total joy to look at,and I'm going to have a great time deciding which to make first!

great histories of the houses
Straightforward instructions, great histories of the houses, and this time the printers have done some of the work for us! WIN! I love Paper Dandy's work, I bought his previous book and I'm looking forward to making all of these models too. AND his Star Wars book too, I can't wait for that. Deffo worth getting this for a crafty afternoon at home.

Excellent product :) Good for budding architect to learn a few famous buildings and styles and to hone some delicate craft skills at the same time. Teamed up with a self healing cutting mat and craft knife for a good present. Well received by 14 year old boy.

Spectacular and stylish but...
The models are stylish and white. You have to bend them into valleys and mountains. Also you have to cut them carefully with a metal ruler. The Gulbenkian Museum was not perfectly marked with mountain folds, so I had to throw it away because it didn't work. It took a couple of mess ups before i got one right. Then they had to be clipped and supported with blu tak.I have been making architectural models for some years and found these pretty disappointing really. I was going to buy another one but think I shall wait a bit.The good thing is that they fold up so you can pack them away safely.
