Easy on the Tummy!
I have to be gluten free. I just watched the “Mind of a Chef” series on Amazon and watched David Chang ( famous NYC chef and restauranteur) slurp ramen noodles everywhere he went. Well it got to me! We had one packet of regular ramen, and though it tasted like heaven going down there was hell to pay afterwards.I did some research and came up with these noodles to try. I also ordered Samabila chicken powder ( it’s great!) at the same time. They were in a pot shortly after arriving at my door! I was worried about the texture, the brick is glued together very convincingly, but I boiled and turned over and over until they became loose. It took awhile and they absorbed quite a bit of the water.I added a knob of butter and 2 tsp’s. of seasoning.I wasn’t sure if they would still make me sick as my stomach is weird these days, but I’m totally ok.I will be experimenting with these more, going to try the restaurant 10 min soak written on the packaging next time. These do not have quite the sponge or chew of regular ramen, but are ok, especially when you don’t get sick after eating them!Updated: Do use the “restaurant” instructions! The 10 minute soak and 20 min sit, then a quick boil until they separate is the way to go! Way better end texture and eating! Start them soaking (they can soak longer and will be fine!) while you potter around slicing your chosen veg, etc. I just saved the pan soak water to cook in, then, after boiling, poured some of it off before adding the Tablespoon of Samabila chicken powder. ( if you have some coconut milk and a lime, you can use less chicken powder and cut down on the sodium, while adding incredible flavors!). I added thin sliced celery and scallions and some Daiya cheddar shreds, toasted sesame seeds, and Sesame oil. (if you like cabbage, a shortcut is to buy a bag of coleslaw and just put it towards the end of the cooking time! So good!).Way better with this method. Closer to regular ramen than my first try! Better mouth feel, softer, but not too soft! Now I’m convinced I will be eating these as often as I can!

I am impressed
I have been searching for a gluten free version of ramen noodles for a long time; years. It seemed like most versions were more like a "rice noodle" texture... or made out of a grain that I couldn't tolerate. After watching the video reviews, I decided to give these a try. Is it 100% perfect? No; nothing can ever be exactly like wheat-based ramen... but these noodles are the very best GF version that I have tried since I started looking in 2019. The extra step of pre-boiling them does slow down the prep time by about 10 minutes (total), but since you are making the ramen from scratch anyway, it isn't really that much of an inconvenience. At first, I thought that I would need to prepare two bundles, since they look small in the packaging; I was wrong! One bundle is generous for one person! The noodles also turn a more familiar "white" color, after you pre-cook them - no worries. They have that familiar "tooth" to them, and they have a good neutral flavor. Get you some broth and some GF ramen toppings, and you are set! :-) I would highly recommend these!

Best gluten free ramen I've tried.
Was looking for a gluten free alternative to chicken flavor Maruchan Instant Ramen and this Real Naturals gluten free brown rice ramen noodles paired with Herb-Ox Bouillon Packets Chicken Instant Broth & Seasoning really satisfied my craving for a hot bowl of chicken flavor ramen. The noodles take 6 minutes to cook as stated in the instructions and aren't gooey and don't fall apart like others I've tried. Cooked for 6 minutes you get a noodle that is deliciously chewy enough to hold on a fork. I cooked the noodles per the instructions and then added them to hot chicken broth with a chicken thigh and with a Herb-Ox seasoning packet and let them sit for an extra few minutes to absorb flavor and I had the best bowl of chicken ramen I've had in a long time. I stopped eating gluten ramen because the gluten started to bother me as I aged and I couldn't find a good gluten free alternative for a long time. I saw these noodles over a year ago but was hesitant to try them because others had been so disappointing, but I'm so glad I finally tried these and will be getting more.

price changes, good texture gf noodles
Good, but..... in three days it went up another $2.00 in price. Ordered on 4/25 it was $16.99 and when I reordered on 4/28 it is now $18.99... these gf ramen noodles are good in terms of texture and ease of cooking. One picture us of noodles plain (so you can see the texture better). Other picture is with broth and condiments. ***keep eyes out for the price changes***

Springy, Tasty and Hard to Believe its Gluten-free
If I got this in a restaurant, I'd think they gave me reg ramen noodles with gluten. It's because these are rice noodles and have spring and texture. They separated with coaxing (use chopsticks to pull the noodles apart before mixing with flavored oil/sauce). One square is probably enough for soup and but I used one to make a dry ramen dishes, where I added protein/vegs. On dry ramen dishes, I keep it in boiled water for 4 minutes, 10 seconds or so, no more. As I write this, I want to make it again, and soon!

Gluten free ramen shoots and scores!
So glad I order these! Had not had the simple pleasure of ramen noodles for years since going gluten free. They are fantastic. Brought back lots of memories from my youth. Can be a simple broth and noodle or as complicated as you like. I added some frozen mixed veggies, some store bought roasted chicken. A touch of sesame oil, dash of fish sauce, sprinkled on some scallions. Heaven! Will be a regular buyer of these noodles. PS, get the ramen broth mix too! Makes it even easier.

Delicious and satisfying
Absolutely delicious! My kids enjoy ramen and I always feel left out when I can’t join in. This solves my problem and my daughter agreed more delicious than hers. The texture and taste are spot on—just like regular ramen, but gluten-free. It’s rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. I’ve already ordered it twice and loved it so much I added it to my subscribe & save. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a gluten-free alternative that doesn’t compromise on quality.
