I use this for all sorts of things... a table, a bench, a stepstool, etc. It works for all purposes. I picked this one particularly for the value/price and the fact that the legs fold in flat. Don't get me wrong -- it is still thick when folded up, but it is thinner than almost all others that have one set of legs fold in on top of the other set, causing them to stick out more and creating an odd form factor when folded.

Been using this bench for a while in my shop. If you work on trucks (or cars) then you know reaching areas under the hood, especially in the back by the firewall, can be challenging. From routine maintenance to repairs this bench has been a life saver for me and has made working on a vehicle much easier. Way better than a small ladder or stool because its wide and you can go back and forth without having to get down and move it to another position. I also use it to dry off the roof after I wash the car/truck. Just way easier without stretching or using a small ladder. I do have one complaint, hence the one star deduction…when you are standing on it and leaning over it can slide on concrete with your weight. What I have found to work is to put some skateboard tape on the bottom of the bench legs, solves the issue. You buy a roll of that and you can replace it if it wears off.

So great! We bought this to use when washing our SUV. Stable, sturdy and easily folds up for storage. Should have bought this years ago.

Hinges are not as sturdy as I would like. But holding up for now.

When I need a single step, this device is wonderful. I try not to use my shoes, because I also like to use it as a camping table. I use one of the holes to insert an umbrella.

Not quite as sturdy as my other brand, but way more compact and it actually folds flat unlike my other one. It is lighter and doesn’t try to pinch my fingers off when I open or close it either. Perfect for washing the car.
