Okay…stay with me here people. I have a lamp in my living room that I thought was super cute and it was really like a decoration piece—we hardly used it functionally. Anyway, loved the lamp but it was hollow in the middle and the cord came straight down the middle and then the nearest outlet to plug it into was like behind the couch. So the lamp whose sole purpose in existence was to make my side table in my living room cute was actually a gross eye sore because of this cord. Soooooo. I saw a tiktok that was like “yo. Cut the cord off your lamp and get yourself a chargeable lightbulb” and my mind was blown. So I immediately hacked the cord off my lamp and then started to look for the light bulb I needed. I did buy 4 different light bulbs before coming across this one.Soooo. For anyone else who is wandering here looking for the right thing to fix the lamp they senselessly destroyed because you were zoning out on TikTok at 11pm at night, this is for you:This is light you need. It’s perfect. Just charge it up and twist it in. Has different light settings you can switch through with the remote and as long as you keep it charged you can use it during power outages which is pretty cool. Downsides: you have to maintain charge on it. I don’t use the lamp much at all so I can’t speak to how it holds up after extended use. And the remote has button batteries which with young kids I try to keep out of my house but if that’s not a concern for you—you’re good.Everybody, go cordless and get this lightbulb!

I like the light is very bright but doesn't last more than 5 hours when the light is in 100% lightening and it takes time to be charged when I use the usb cable that comes with it.However the light is really bright and nice

This is a clever little product, but it has some important limitations. It really has one main purpose: to convert a normal household lamp that would normally run on utility power into a battery powered lamp or lantern that can now be periodically recharged by USB-C. On high power they get as bright as a regular light bulb, and they can be dimmed down to make the battery last longer. If you want to put this in a table lamp in your family room and run it at normal brightness for a few hours in the evening, it will do that for a couple of days before you need to recharge it. So it is for power outages, off-grid cabins, or some other situation where you can't just plug your regular lamp into the wall socket.Here is what it DEFINITELY ISN'T: a replacement for your existing light bulb that just adds the ability to run when there is no power. You can't use your existing lamp switch to turn it on or off. It will not recharge itself if the lamp is plugged into utility power. The only way to charge it is by the USB-C port on the side.Downsides: Both the touch sensitive switch and the remote control function mean the small battery in the bulb is constantly being slowly drained even when the light is off. So if you stick these in a drawer and expect them to run six months from now when the power is out, you will likely find them dead. They do need to be recharged regularly, and eventually the constant charging and discharging will kill the battery inside them and they will be ready for the landfill. I suspect a lot of the people giving this product a bad review just don't understand that.The credit card remote is line of sight only and the bulbs need to be exposed. So don't expect the remote control to work if the bulb is stuffed behind a lamp shade.They do come with little hooks to put them in spots where there is no socket to screw them into. But the whole purpose of buying something shaped like a light bulb is to screw them into an existing fixture. If you just need a camping lantern, some kind of light powered by USB etc. there are a million ways to get that. This is really a purpose-built product to convert an existing lamp or fixture to battery power.Bottom line: You buy this thing because you specifically want a regular lamp or fixture to become battery operated and USB rechargeable for some reason. If you are willing to recharge these bulbs regularly, they will do that for you at a reasonable price.

Purchased these rechargeable light bulbs with remote for emergency purposes and for an antique lamp which technically worked, but I wouldn't trust it unless it was rewired. Rechargeable bulbs which didn't require the lamp to actually be plugged in was the immediate answer.The original order arrived with all the box contents intact and I proceeded to charge the light bulbs. (They have a red light when charging, turns to green when completely charged - very nice feature.) I used the remote a few times to become accustomed to it, but it stopped working after just a few days with the light bulbs on only a few minutes at a time.I reached out to Neporal via email and received a very timely response. In short, Robert, the President, shipped a replacement order, which I have received and tested multiple times throughout the day for several days. This replacement remote is working flawlessly.Attached are photos depicting the "cool", " warm" and "amber" light settings. I Cannot speak to longevity, but with another hurricane on its way, and unknown duration of potential power outages, these are an appreciated addition to the hurricane preparation arsenal.

The media could not be loaded. These are very bright and I love that all 4 bulbs are controlled by 1 remote! It helped allowed me to add this hardwire vanity light above my bathroom mirror without having to completely rewire my bathroom. I do feel like I have to recharge them quite often though if you leave them on for long periods of time, but they are fully charged within about 45 mins. Definitely a good value, good bright light, love that they're dimmable and you can change the color shade, and they screw in easily into a e26 light bulb socket. Plus they look exactly like regular light bulbs so no one can even tell its not an actual hardwired vanity light!

Perfect for our off-grid cottage. Bulbs quickly recharge on our Bluetti power station. We used 2 bulbs over our card playing table/dining table and they lasted 5 hours on the brightest setting until they were turned off.

I took a chance to see how the bulbs would work out in an area we had always wanted to place a decorative lamp, but running an extension cord could not be used. My wife was amazed when she noticed I had magically turned on the lamp knowing we had no outlet available. The light works great and the 3 dimmable color temperatures allow for soft yellow to bright white illumination. Sadly my lampshade blocks the remote control signal rendering the remote basically useless from any distance. I have to hold it directly under or above the lampshade (which is about 9" tall), but it beats not having a light, or having to reach under the shade to turn it on/off. Hopefully they last.

Los compre para la temporada de lluvia que regularmente se va la luz y no me gusta estar en tinieblas. Los tengo conectados todo el tiempo y cuando se va la luz en automático permanecen encendidos. Me han durado bastante y la luz es fría.
