ultra portable high back chair that folds into a small bag
I'm constantly impressed with MARCHWAY camping gears as I already own their folding tent cot as well as folding camping chairs, which I love. They seem to focus on the ultra portability with folding and packable design that fits into a compact and lightweight bag but without cutting corners and compromising on the quality. This high back camping chair is no different from their other products in terms of design and quality. In fact, it has many similarities as their non-high back folding camping chairs as if they kept all the good design and just changed it for high back. Let me give comparison of this high back chair with their non-high back chair:WHAT I LIKE:✔️ Ultra portability : Thanks to the folding frames like the ones you see in tent, they still managed to fold and store this high back chair inside a carrying back that's just tad bigger than their non-high back chair. When folded inside the carrying back, it's just about 16" long x 6" wide, weighting less than 4lbs. This is the major benefit of this chair as it takes very little space to pack and carry this chair at ease!✔️ Quick assembly and take down : Ultra portability and compact folding design probably doesn't mean much if it was difficult and takes long time to setup but this chair has the similar design as their non-high back folding chair that's super easy to setup. When you remove the velcro straps, most of the pole frames just falls into their own place due to the elastic string inside (similar to the tent poles). I was happy to find the upgraded instruction paper, which had color pictures with large fonts showing you step by step for assembly and take down. It's pretty straight forward but it will be very helpful to those who may not remember or for the very first time.✔️ Stability : I wasn't surprised that they kept the same triangular base design found in their non-high back camping chairs. This triangular base with 4 legs provides impressive stability. They did upgrade the feet of each leg with more solid and anti-slip and abrasion resistant cap, which I found them much more durable and stronger than the feet caps found in their non-high back chair lines. Aviation grade aluminum alloy frames that is lightweight yet heavy duty makes this chair very stable.✔️ Comfort and high quality fabric : One obvious change is that this chair has high back, providing more surface area to lean and rest your back. I'm glad to see they made the back portion a mesh in addition to the side meshes on the seat, providing much needed air flows during summer for longer seating without having to get up. The fabric is still the same high density 600D Oxford fabric!WHAT I WOULD LOVE TO SEE NEXT:While this high back camping chair is nearly perfect, there are 2 enhancements I would love to see in the next model, which would make this the perfect ultra portable high back chair.🛎️ It would be great to have a cushion/pad on the back that can be flipped to the front or behind the back, similar to the Tommy Bahama beach chairs. This will provide extra comfort around the neck for those who needs it and can be flipped away behind the chair for shorter adults or kids, which could provide discomfort.🛎️ I would love to see a separate pocket for holding a water bottle. Again, this idea is from something that I've used to seeing in Tommy Bahama beach chairs where it has a pocket for phone/small item and a separate mesh pocket for water bottle or drinks.Overall, I'm very pleased with this chair and I'm happy to see that they kept all the right design while making things better for the high back design. I'm sure they will continue to iterate and improve on their design and I can't wait to see what they come out with next as we use their outdoor gears for our camping trip, fishing, backyard activities and at sporting events on the grass. 5 out of 5 stars!

Initially great, after 3 week seams having issues
At first blush, I thought this was going to be one of the my favorite overall chairs (and I've tried quite a number of them).Couple of my observations (both pros and cons)1. Overall size and weight to cost ratio. It's very easy to get a more comfortable chair, but the cost, weight, and fold-down size all go up. I did think the comfort level was on the higher end for me.2. Putting the chair together and take down was above average compared to others.3. The chair feels really stabile and sturdy. Other chairs seem to hold, but often feel kinda loose and rickety. This one feels solid.4. Poles fit well, which means grabbing the chair from the top to move it around doesn't induce the chair to fall apart. Others I've tried are stabile when sitting, but come loose when grabbed.5. Getting out of the chair seems to be above average. Kinda had that sweet spot of being tall enough and reclined just about right to still be able to get out of it.6. The backing support is about average for me. Enough to give my head and neck support (some a better, but a lot are worse).7. I like the fact it runs mesh vice a gap in the seat. I tend to toss things into my chairs (cell phone or book) after standing up. Seat acts like a bucket and tossed the don't fall through the cracks. Mesh gives some extra heat shedding, but honestly most seats like these don't seem to get to hot.8. My one biggest complaint is one of the main seat seams is starting to fray. This is the start of a blow out. Almost all seats will eventually get there, hence I like a moderate purchase price. This one appeared to be well built, so I was surprised on the seam starting to give way so early. Honestly if it wasn't for this one issue, this chair would probably be my top pick. I still have it 4 stars because I'm hoping I just got one that was flawed.I guess I could still return to Amazon, but I'm likely to see how long until the seam blows out.

Great chair that is very compact
I bought this chair to go into my jetski storage compartment for when I hit the party beach. Not only does it fold down into a very small package, but when set up, it's extremely comfortable and stable. The first time to set it up and take it down, it may take a couple of minutes, but after doing it a time or two, it's very easy.I'm very happy with this chair.

Get this. Thats all there is to it.
Ok, so I had some cheaper ones that sat low to the ground. Got those a few years back when we started kayak camping. the small chairs didnt take up much storage space and hey, primitive camping, it beats sitting on a log.So this year while planning our trip for September, my buddy ordered one of these and showed it to me.since its a bit higher off the ground, its much more comfortable on the legs.I was hooked!!!The only reason I gave it 4 for comfort. is the headrest. its small.and you feel like your laying back a bit too much. What I did was, I took a larger headrest from the older chair. sewed velcro straps to it.then I sewed velcro onto the back of this chair, The headrest straps go over the back and secure to the velcro on the back of this chair. bingo!with the new headrest, this is hands down the best camping chair ive been in.

Very nice!
Love this seat! Took it on a camping trip and it was comfy! Plus I had to carry it from one place to another while still built; not bulky, could of Carried it with my finger if I had to lol.
