This PFD fits easily and comfortablely around my waist, which makes it perfect for kayaking in South Florida. Also, it lets me paddle without restrictions. On a sit on top kayak, a vest can hang up on your boat when you try to climb back on after a spill. You can actually rotate this PFD onto your lower back so it's completely out of the way. Just remember to put back to your belly side when you're paddling. I bought my wife one for her paddleboard.

Omg. I hope I never need to deploy it but I love it. It’s super comfortable. And it inflates in seconds. I tried it to see how it worked and is super cool.

Easy to use. We use these for our paddle boards to safely be out on the water without having to wear a full life jacket. On one instance we had to use the device and it worked just as it was suppose to.

This Bluestorm belt PFD was exactly what I was looking for to use while paddle boarding. NOTE: YES the CO2 cartridge is included. And NO, this does not weigh 3lbs as another reviewer claimed. I weighed mine and it is a total of 14oz ready to go. The included CO2 cartridge is tucked away in a black pocket designed to hold a spare cartridge located inside the main pouch. The belt is wide at 2" which helps make it more comfortable than a more narrow belt which is more likely to dig if too tight. The velcro keeping the main pouch closed it completely tucked away and will not catch your wet suit or rash guard. I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

This overall seems like a nice product, however it was not clear that it doesn't come with Co2 - which is necessary in order to use the product. We bought these for a trip in a few days and are now scrambling to get some in time! Not everyone knows how these work prior to purchasing so they should make this clear.

Being plus size keeps lots of us from trying new things. I really worried about getting a paddle board and needing a life vest. I’m a good swimmer and will mostly be on calmer lakes, creeks, etc so I opted for this waist life vest. When looking at size it mostly references chest size for when inflated. This didn’t help but I took a chance based off another review. I am a size 22 basically and it came today and I immediately tried it on. It fits and I have some wiggle room. I will have to adjust it to fit a bit snugger. I guess what I’m saying is take a chance and don’t let things hold you back. I found a full vest that fits me as well. Get out there and have some fun with your safety items intact.
