The blue indicates ‘speed’ from low, medium, and high.The cord is tangle-resistant and of good quality. The dryer has a good grip that conforms to the hand shape well. It’s not painful to hold for long periods of time, so it’s designed well.It comes with ‘reverse cleaning’, an ability that cleans the dryer out by reversing the air, hard blowing out the dust, etc.hence cleaning it.Check out my video showing it working. It’s worth every penny if you hold your blow dryer a lot throughout the day.Reliable. The company stands by replacing their products under warranty without hassle. I’ve done an RMA with Bionics and they send a brand-new product standing by their products.I’d recommend this to anyone but mostly hair stylist looking for a powerful professional grade blower.

I am impressed. I have been holding a blow dryer in my hand for 25 years - and this is a really nice dryer. I have no experience with any other top of the line dryer - but I splurged on this one when it was on a great sale , in Mother’s Day … and I have no regrets. I watch as this dryer turns the hair smooth and shiny faster than I have ever dried anyone’s hair before. I love the locking button- you can lock it on med heat / high air flow and not accidentally turn it to fire mode.It’s incredibly light weight and easy to have a conversation over while blowing out the hair doo!

this is the 2nd tlme i have to return this dryer because after using it for a few months, when you turn it "on" it taes 11 seconds to actually turn on! this is very upsetting because its a nice dryer

I have been using Bio Ionic products for years. I purchased this after I dropped my old hairdryer and finally killed it. This newer mode is so much quieter, lighter and and the three heat and blow settings is really nice. It definitely takes less time to dry. While this is certainly more expensive than drug store hair dryers, it works best for my smooth, straight hair.

I absolutely love this dryer! My hairdresser used one on me and I loved how shiny and smooth it made my natural curls. It comes with a great diffuser that gently lifts your hair. I have never spent this much in a hairdryer, but I would not hesitate to do it again. This dryer is quiet running, light weight and easy to use. do it again!

Well worth the money. Best I have ever had; light weight, sufficient power and temp, great quality, works great!

I do like the direct shot of air, it is so light weight, love the lock option so I'm not accidentally changing settings. I'm still getting used to holding it. The shape is very different from a traditional frame. I am a hairsylist and use this multiple times a day! Still giving it 5 stars because it is powerful and love the way it dries the hair!

Do not WASTE your money. While I love how my hair looks after blow drying with this dryer, I DO NOT love how disposable the dryer itself is.For the health of my hair, I blow dry once a week. After less than six months of using this dryer once a week, the heating element died.Before contacting the company, I followed the manufacturer instructions to try and reset it. It did not work.After I contacted the Bio Ionic company, I was told to follow the reset instructions to fix it. I conveyed that I had done that already. Then I was told I’d have to file a claim.Instead of forcing its customers to jump through hoops, and given the $350 price tag, I had hoped for a higher level of customer service. An immediate offer of a replacement hair dryer should have been the answer but this company doesn’t seem to stand by its product.I have several other products made by this company but based on their lack of integrity, I will not purchase anything else from them. Nor will I recommend their products to friends and family.
