Cool, I may switch
This feels like a classic wooden pencil. BE ADVISED 2H IS NOT THE SAME AS #2. A draftsman or artist would know this but those skills are seldom taught. 2His harder than #2 and writes lighter. If you want #2find an HB version.

Good
Took quite some time to get, but i was impressed. Wrote amazing (just a touch light) i did however drop it, which the tip broke at an angle, but still very much usable. I will say though, you are mostly paying for the metal and not the tip as its is about the same as any other kind of forver pen/pencil.

Heavy yet light
It’s a sleek, stylish pencil. Very unique. It’s got a bit of weight which is actually pretty cool. My only complaint is how light the markings you leave are. Even pressing hard it’s still very light. Especially when writing on white paper, your words have a harder time standing out. It’s a great pencil, just know before you buy that it’s gonna be light.

I wanted to love this pencil, but...
This Metacil pencil feels SO good in my hand; hexagonal, cold, and substantial weight. My standby, by Faber Castell, is round, slightly lighter, and has a plastic layer on the outside so you don't get that rock-cold feel.PROBLEM? The "lead" / graphite of the Metacil is just too hard. Even with a lot of pressure, enough to emboss the paper, the Metacil produces a very light line. It's uncomfortable to press that hard, but, with normal pressure, the line is barely legible - barely functional.I will stick with my graphite Faber Castell artist pencils. Peeling off that plastic layer would improve the feel, but I suspect suspect it's needed for strength and to prevent fhe softer "lead" from transferring to my fingertips.Note: Picture shows Metacil line with lots of pressure, Faber with normal pressure.

There's no reason for a pencil to be this cool
I'm big on drawing, and typically traditional wooden pencils are my go-to. Mechanical pencils are nice for longevity, but their thin, straight lead isn't really intuitive for the intricacies of shading, line weight, etc. This is exactly what I needed. It's got all the pros of a wooden pencil, while also being durable, reusable, and STYLISH! The pencil itself has a very nice weight and feel to it, and makes a super satisfying scratching noise while writing, if you're into that stuff.

Tip broke off
It was cool for the few times I was able to use it. Wrote well on paper one hard surfaces. Wouldn’t write on manila folders.Thought the tip would be strong, but too much pressure broke a small piece off. No biggie, do t write so hard I tell myself. Then the cup I keep pens etc. in on my desk fell, and the whole tip broke off. Would not recommend.

Metacil pencil
My son liked it. Said it has a good weight on it, a little rough when drawing. Does NOT like that it smudges quit a bit.

Nice pencil
It feels just like a normal #2 pencil in your hand but a good amount nicer. The way it writes is just as you'd expect, but very lightly, it doesn't leave a very dark line behind, making it a little more difficult to read after than a normal pencil.
