Brilliant. Really sturdy.
Got this for my son when he was 18 months. Took him a few months to get used to it - good precursor to a balance bike. Good longevity - him 4.5 yr old cousin still careers around the kitchen on his.

👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
This is much easier to use for my 15monthd old than the ScrambleBug which has coaster wheels. Happy with it's build and agility for such a good price

We love our bug <3
I bought this in May, and my daughter was only 14 months old. She wasn't too interested in it at the time, never went to it on her own and if I sat her on it she would stay there a few seconds then get off and toddle off to do something else. She only began walking in may too, so when this arrived she wasn't very steady on her feet yet and I think this may have had an impact on her confidence. She didn't feel very secure perched up on the seat. However, around 18 months old, the scuttlebug seemed to become far more interesting. She started sitting on it herself, and couldn't quite figure out how to make it move forwards, so would either go backwards, or would stand on the floor, holding the handlebars, and just sort of walk along with it between her legs! She's now 20 months old and has got the jist. She'll jump onto it, yell 'zoom zoom!' and speed off around the house. I'm forever finding it in whatever room she's abandoned it in, or being rammed in the back of the legs by it!Occasionally it will topple over, I think this is just when she gets too excited and tried to go faster than her legs are capable of holding her steady. It is a fantastic size, it folds up so small you can take it anywhere, and it's not very heavy. We've had no problems with it being too small for her. Saying that, she's very small for her age, however I do think it's going to be perfectly useable for a while. I'm expecting it to get a lot of use in the garden and on walks next summer.I would say that it's better when they're at an age where they're steady on their feet and confident with walking, it requires leg power and coordination for them to move.
