I waited a long time and kept coming back to this camera over and over again because it is fairly pricey but it is a true PTZ with 16x optical zoom. Yes I can read the time on the clock…It was priced reasonably so could the quality really be as good as what I’ve been reading online? YESI’m glad I waited as I don’t think I would’ve appreciated it as much if I got in it sooner the quality is amazing for both a picture and the build quality for the camera and I’m very glad I made the purchaseIt is great addition to my set up for my house as I have not only for view of my backyard, but I can scan and look at the lake as well as details on my dock.If you have a need for a PTZ camera in your set up, I would not hesitate to purchase this camera. Just make sure that you have a sturdy mounting location as this camera needs a very sturdy mount. It has some weight to it and it does move (which is why you bought it).Would I buy this camera again? Absolutely without hesitation.Don’t let the cost concern you as you do get which pay for and it is a true full functioning PTZ camera that works great with the Reolink system.Take your time with not only the installation, but the set up and configuration of the camera so you can get the most out of it.The other thing to note is all of my cameras are hardwired as it gives me greater control and ease of management, so that I can do POE all of my cameras.I have my dock connected with a Ubiquiti PTP bridge.Currently, I have about 15 cameras on my set up that had full coverage of my property and couldn’t be happier.I just wish the cost of hard drives for the NVR were a little less expensive, but we can’t have everything.Take your time and do your install and setup right the first time.

This camera is truly impressive, with crystal-clear 4K resolution, smooth PTZ functionality, and excellent night vision. The 16X optical zoom is a game-changer for long-range surveillance. However, be mindful of placement, this camera performs best when positioned at a greater distance from the area you want to monitor. I may have over-specced for my needs, but it still delivers outstanding performance. Highly recommend for those who need top-tier security coverage!

I purchased this camera Jul 26, 2023. It worked ok for a couple of months. Soon after it started losing the automatic focus making the view blurry. I started to manually adjust the focus by pressing the + or - control in the Reolinlk app from my computer. I managed to get the view clear but a few days later it became blurry again. This situation kept repeating itself like a bad dream. I have to say, I loved the specs, and it is great to be able to focus far with its 16X optical magnification feature and being able to point at my preset points I entered..It turned into a love hate situation, and a costly one at that, it is the most expensive security individual camera that I have. I don't know what I can do to remedy this, specifically since my procrastination has taken me past the 2 year warranty deadline.

The media could not be loaded. This Reolink camera was easy to setup. I mounted this under my deck for a commanding view of my entire backyard and more. The 16X optical zoom works fine and it is fast. The main problem is sometimes it will not focus when the zoom is changed. I have found that pressing the zoom "+" or "-" buttons brings it back into focus. My camera has been on for 6 months plus and has never shut down on it's own. I know that lesser quality Reolink security camera will "lock up" and the only way to get it back is to recycle power. The video is works fine for my needs. The included video was taken 70 feet from camera to bird feeder. The photos that it produces are good, but do need cleaned up and sharpened with image software. The main concern that I have is the way the camera "hangs" on the bracket. I do not like this at all. Also, 3 screws are included to secure the camera to the bracket and if you lose one, well, they are metric. You do not get a spare. I will most likely purchase one more of these since they are much better quality than the lower priced units.
