Good chilli
A nice little pack of Aleppo pepper. I don’t use it a lot, so this smaller bag is perfect. Transferred it to an airtight container.

So glad I finally tried this!
I had a recipe that called for aleppo pepper, but since I didn't have any, I subbed in more common flaked red pepper (but only a quarter of it, in accordance with the suggestion in the recipe). It was a great dish, but I decided to consider adding aleppo to my Ocado order to see what the difference was, but it was £6.99 for 18g! I checked amazon and saw the great reviews and price for this one, and ordered it straight away. It has minimal packaging, which I love and when it arrived I put it in a lidded jar. The first time I used it, I loved it! It has a very soft heat - not at all aggressive, and it doesn't build up on your tongue so that you feel you have something quite spicy at the end of the meal. It added a fantastic dimension to our recipe, and although at first I thought it would take ages to get through 100g, I'm re-ordering just a few weeks later so I am not without it. I find myself using it in all sorts of things. I'm glad I decided to try it - it's much better than the flaked red pepper.

WOW! So nice
This is definitely great product.Used to have chili flakes but they tend to be too spicy.This product it gives a nice sroma along with a spicy sweet taste.Will never buy chili flakes again :)

Difficult to find but worth the hunt
I originally saw this used on a Rick Stein programme but had a really hard job finding it anywhere. I have two really good Asian stores near me but they hadn’t heard of it. Bought it online from Chilli Wizards and have used it several times. It’s not like a plain chilli powder but has underlying flavours. Depending on how much you use it’ll give a great depth to your dish or a powerful kick. I’ve almost used what I bought and will be ordering again soon.
