Great Iron for Crafting and Sewing
It’s a cute little iron that gets the job done. It heats up quickly and the dials are easy to read. I especially like that it comes with its own a pad to sit upon and although I like the shape to get into tight corners, more than once I have inadvertently tried to stand it up like a regular full sized iron! The shape of the iron is tapered on both ends so the pad is essential when using it to set it down. It’s probably good as a travel iron but not as a regular clothes iron, unless it’s doll clothes you need to iron, it’s small, perfect for crafting and pressing out seams. I must say it does come with the ability to steam but I haven’t had a need for it. It’s a reasonable price too, I did research before buying.

EXCELLENT SMALL IRON
GREAT little iron!1st-PICTURES show this is SMALL and measurements given 5.32"L x 3.43"W are correct.2-The heat selection worked great-I needed high and medium heat for 2 different projects. New iron, so I tested on scrap fabric.3-Since the iron sits flat because of 2 pointy ends, I also bought a small silicone rest AND placed 2 potholders under that while working on the projects, the iron was on and hot. No issues.4-The STEAM function worked very well. Use the cup provided for perfect fill.I have ordered a replacement since the water started leaking out when sitting. This happened after a couple of days of use, and not right away.Stuff happens. I'll get my replacement and report how it goes!I sew and this little iron is super convenient to have to use by my sew machine, on a wool mat and especially awesome for small projects. I was making surgical caps so my large iron was just too big.

Not Bad But Could Be Better
I bought this to replace a similar iron made by Dritz. The Dritz iron wasn't perfect either but it did last for about 7 years of constant use. Many of the Dritz models had a manufacturing flaw triggering a rather massive recall, mine was not included in the recall and worked well until the day it quit working.I searched with care for a replacement, buying a small iron made by Cricut that I like quite a bit, but it has a very small soleplate. I needed something just a little bigger, and kept searching for a better option. Some of the features that drew me to this Beautural model turned out not to such great features in practice. The soleplate on the Beautural is pointed on both ends, which sounded like a good idea, but it means that you cannot prop the iron upright on its end between use. To that end, it comes with a contoured silicone rest mat that fits the plate rather snugly, but that rest is less than ideal. First - it gets very hot, much hotter than a similar silicone mat I have for my full-sized iron. Strike two, is that the rest fits a little too snugly. When I pick up the iron to use it, half the time the rest stays stuck on the plate, requiring me to pull it off with my fingers. This is awkward for as I mentioned before, that silicone mat gets very hot.I found a good solution to that problem by resting the iron, between use, at a 90 degree angle to the contours of the mat (see accompanying photo). This elevates the iron above the surface of the mat just a little, but enough to keep the mat from getting too hot. It also prevents the iron from settling into the contoured mat and alleviates the problem of having to pry it off the plate. The positive features include an adjustable temperature wheel (my Dritz had only one heat setting), and a nice long cord that does not kink. My Dritz had a tightly curled 'pigtail' cord that I was never certain was supposed to be that way. The cord would kink and curl and was difficult to straighten. Sometimes the kinks were tight enough to upset the iron, knocking it over (I melted my rug one time when it fell off my work table and landed soleplate down on the rug). The Beautural also has a steam feature that I haven't tried yet. The Dritz had a steam function but the water would leak from the reservoir, making steam a moot point. In all, I am happy with this replacement for my Dritz, but it's far from perfect.

Small size easy to use and works great
This little iron works great. I mostly use it for inside an embroidery hoop. I have had no issues with it. It heats up much better than another small one that I tried. it would be great for travel as well as the small size would be easy to pack.

Nice little iron for quilting blocks (and paper piecing).
This heats up very quickly, the steam function is good, it presses cotton nicely. You need a small hand to use this thing as if you are touching any other part of this iron, you will burn your fingers if they reach over the "handle". I just have to watch how I am holding it. I will be taking it to Europe to try on 220v: we'll see how that holds up and I will update.

It works great. It also leaks.
Bought this to have near the sewing machine for quilting. It's a perfect size, heats up fast and gets hot as hell. BUT it leaks. I will either learn to live with it or use it without steam. Perhaps I can finesse it by filling it less full, lowering the temp, etc. I'm disappointed. But it's still better than trying to use the full size ironing board and iron next to the sewing machine which is really wobbly and takes up the whole room.

Hot it gets hot!
I actually like this iron and would give in5 stars but the cord is off center, not right for this lefy. No auto shut off, requires a good memory or my energy bill will explode. The iron itself heats up quickly works well. I’ve not put water in it, but have spritzed my fabric and it makes a beautiful steam. That way feels good in the hand recommend this iron but for those two little things mentioned.
