The one previously owned was similar to this & did a good job while it lasted, but got broken because of the design of the clip.The design of this is much better with the spring which makes it more flexible & less likely to break. Holds firmly to both dashboard & phone. The device clamp is large enough & extend to hold most large device. Good value for the price & satisfied.

Great bit of kit

Holds a S24 ultra / iPhone 15 pro max without issue, full adjustment for tilt and rotation with locking collar for setting in place once adjusted to your liking, clamp for dashboard binnacle is strong and fits a good range of thicknesses, overall a good product, would recommend

Had a similar, but different type of holder, but found when using the phone in satnav mode, the steering wheel obscured part of the screen, this is much better, the extra height clears the steering wheel, and the central grip point also avoids the grip touching the buttons on the phone, meaning offsetting the phone, which causes it to tilt, not with this one, good strong grip on the dashboard and the phone, bumps don’t make it tilt, doddle to put on and take off, feels good solid build, plenty of adjustability, excellent.

It started out great, held my large phone (Pixel 7 pro) firmly and could be fixed to a couple of places in the car so was just what I was looking for. Unfortunately and after the return window has expired, the grippy rubber component has come off the clip part and it now just pings off at the slightest jolt which is no good with the state of the roads near me. My search goes on.

It does the job, but I found that it impeded my view a lot while driving. It can clip on to centre console either, if you have a section that you can clip it on to. Very strong spring, but adjustable section got a little loose after a while. Probably good for trucks I’d say

I’ve been through 10 different types. This one grips hard and doesn’t move. Well worth a buy.
