Why did you pick this product vs others?:We spent two months in Panama in a coffee-growing region, where we learned that this brand of coffee is smooth and delicious. I can actually drink it black, which I don't do with other coffees because of the bitterness. Of course, it's far more expensive here than it is in Panama, so, sadly, we just treat ourselves occasionally.In our house: "I'm going to make some coffee. Do you want a cup?""Is it the Panamanian coffee?""Not today.""Uh, no thanks."

If you never had coffee from Panama before, you have to try it. I had some on vacation last year, and fell in love. It has a great aroma, and a very rich taste. I am a casual coffee drinker. This is only coffee I want to drink. It's worth every penny.

I have loved Duran coffee since I first encountered it in Panama. This is a round and full bodied medium roast coffee, that has the taste I have chased for years.

I'm bias because it is a brand of coffee that I have consumed since my youth and it's produced in Panama which is my family's native country. Totally bias! It is very delicious and well-balanced. Low acidity and if you brew it right you get lovely subtle chocolate notes which I love! I get the flavor without the guilt or sugar! I could get it from Panama CHEAP! But sadly someone had to mule it into the country so it is massively more expensive than it is in the motherland.

My brother-in-law travels to Panama from time to time and brings this coffee back with him. It is rich and smooth. It's pricey in the states but excellent coffee if you're willing to pay the price. I bought this for him as a gift and he was pleased.
