I bought this product for my GMRS antenna to mound on the side of the bed of my Aluminum f150. Works great!

Disappointing
It was advertised as coming with RG-58 coax but it was the inferior RG-58A version. The shield is attached to the NMO connector by a simple 2-eared friction clamp. It will vibrate loose on the first moderate trail. The plastic cap is not bonded to anything. It will probably vibrate loose before the shield lets go. Sending it back.

Seems to work just fine
I bought this to install a 800mhz antenna outside of my office window. Screwed it to the outside, threaded an 800mhz low profile antenna on it and works just fine. Not ideal but its a radio i transmit on maybe once a month for 5 seconds.

Affordable
Decent price, cable and antenna mount are perfect. However, bracket is of lowgrade metal and bends too easily. Hence the 3 stars.
