Best bait bag.
Love this bait bag. Very durable as I’ve owned a couple of these for several years. I love it’s not super deep. It fits a sandwich bag of treats perfectly. I also love the firm clip frame to hold the bag open so it’s easy to access the treats and that it comes with the waist belt. I give these to all my dog training clients.

Easy Access to Yummy Treats
Last year, I purchased a bag-style treat bag with cinch string and while that worked well, I didn't realize how much better this one until I tried it out. Since misplacing the bag, I was very content to use my jacket pockets which were large enough to easily and quickly get treats. Now that the weather is warmer though, I found I needed something better than my shirt or pants pocket. And while I thought this treat pouch was on the expensive side (at least in my mind), I'm really glad I got it. It makes dispensing treats so much easier. For the rest of the review, I'll do a series of question and answers. What was wrong with the pants or shirt pocket? Most of my pants pockets, while large on the inside, don't allow the kind of quick treat retrieval needed for extensive training. It became difficult to grab a treat especially if there was something else in the pocket. As for the shirt pocket, let's just say that any time I leaned down Nova got a "jackpot" treat. If you liked the old bag-style, why not get another one?It was fine, but the main reason I got it was because it was cheap (I think maybe $5). I couldn't find it again for the same price and this one got tons of good reviews, so I gave it a try. One thing I didn't like about the bag style is that it didn't close very fast or easily and so sometimes treats would fall out if I bent over to pick up a ball or something. Why is this product awesome?Almost everything about this product seems well thought out not just for treats, but as a small "go" bag for a quick trip with your dog. it's got plenty of space for treats (even two compartments) and a few other spots for a phone, poop bags, keys, and whatever else you might need except a water bottle (and that would just be too bulky). What would you change about this product? The only thing I sometimes struggle with is the divider for the "yummy" and "yummier" treats. It's velcro which is fine but can be a bit cumbersome if you're trying to switch between both frequently. But this feature was a bonus that I didn't realize how nice it would be anyways, so it's not a big deal. I've found it particularly useful for training outside, I can have a brightly colored treat like for tossing on the ground and regular dark colored treats for when I give them by hand.Would you buy this product again?Absolutely. The wide opening that stays open when you need treats and stays closed to prevent falling treats works perfectly. Everything else is a bonus.

My Go-To Treat Bag for 10+ Years
This is my third PetSafe treat pouch. I've been using them for more than 10 years. I've tried lots of different kinds of treat bags, always coming back to this one. Here's what I like:**SPRING OPENING -- The spring hinges are easy to pop open, keep the bag open and snap shut with just a nudge. I love this metal hinge. It keeps the bag open so I can reach in and reward my do timely, without fumbling. It also closes with a light finger touch. This is really helpful when you are juggling treats, a leash and other gear while also wanting to close the bag.**Durable -- Yes, this is my third bag. After about three years of daily use, the hinge comes apart or the metal closure breaks. I'd say that's excellent durability. The rugged canvas material doesn't fray, unravel or easily stain. I've never had a failure of the plastic clip on the belt or any problems with the lined pocket interiors coming apart. The only thing I would change to make this reliable pouch even better is if it were just a bit larger. I carry extra poop bags, keys, hair clips and cell phone. Though this bag has several storage pockets, if you fill it with treats there really isn't enough room for keys or cell phone. I end up hanging stuff off the bag or stuffing in my pants pockets.Still, overall I always come back to this treat bag. Using it daily, my PetSafe treat bag gets a workout and performs very well. I highly recommend this bag.

Great Scott! It's got pockets!
Great size, easy to use. I love all the pockets and areas I can stuff things in when I'm out and about with my dog. The hinges to keep the main pocket open or closed are amazing - it works flawlessly. I've use the snot out of this thing for a few months now before reviewing so I could be honest about it's performance. It holds a ton of treats. Really, a ton. My hands have been compared to gorilla hands, and I don't have issues with them not fitting in this pouch. No bumping, no scratching, nothing. I've not had issues with treats getting stuck down in the bottom, but I keep mine in ziplock bags - it's easier to swap out for the different treats I use for different dogs, and trust me you do NOT want dehydrated salmon crumbs sitting in this thing for a long amount of time - especially if you happen to leave it in your car during lunch break when it's 100 degrees in the shade. It's not pleasant, trust me. Ziplocks are your friend :) I've used a lot of other tpyes of pouches, and I really like this one best. The elastic lops on the front are great for holding things, but I use mine to hang things off. I have a potty bag holder, a silicone water bowl and a clicker hanging on mine currently. The front pocket that velcros shut is what I call my "training purse" area. I keep my drivers license, credit card and cell phone in it and when I'm out training public access I don't have to worry about carrying a full sized purse along with me. Convenience is key :)
