When my level was low the doctor told me to take Vitamin D as a supplement to my prescribed meds. East to swallow and leaves no aftertaste like the ones I purchased from a local, well known department store - and they are a better quality and cheaper than I purchased locally. Helps the body obsorb calcium to increase bone health. Helps with energy and mood. Pleasing color with no aftertaste

Normally I do not write reviews except for exceptional products. This product is exceptional in many ways. First I have always had problems with Vitamin D so much so that my PCP doctor injected me with vitamin D. Big mistake. I truly had heart pains several hours later. So no more injections. I tried other brands of of vitamin D and when tested I was always low. When I tried taking 3 o 4 pills per day since I was low when taking just 2 pills per day ( each pill was 2000 IU) - again with the heart pains. As a side note my wife when taking just 1 pill per day (200 IU) of any brand of vitamin D - her tests always showed that she was getting a sufficient amount of vitamin D. I have always had a problem. I would take 4,000 IU per day of other brands and still my tests showed I was very low on Vitamin D and I always took the Vitamin D with food. So this brand was going to be my last attempt to have normal vitamin D levels. For some reason my body seems to reject vitamin D and I should add that I do not spend a lot of time outdoors. So I do not get a very much vitamin D from the sun. Now I saw this product on Amazon and it contained coconut oil for better absorption. I thought if this product does not work then I am giving up on vitamin D - my body just rejects it for some unknown reason. So I tried just 2 pills per day ( each pill 2000 iu) for 3 months. I was then retested by my PCP doctor and for the very first time in my life my vitamin D level was in the normal range!!!!! And as a side note I can take more than 2 pills per day with no heart pain!!! This brand is an absolute life saver!!!! If you have problems with taking vitamin D then look no further than this brand. This brand is outstanding!!!!!! I will be on this brand the rest of my life!! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!!

I'm very happy to have found Sports Research Vitamin D3. I am a believer in vitamin supplements and really invest in good quality vitamins. I have seen my parents take many supplements, at dosages higher than usual multi-vitamins commercially available, and enjoy good health and vitality in their senior years (my dad is 80 and my mom is 67) - no medical conditions, no maintenance medication, with energy to exercise, do chores, do work, play with grandkids, etc. Now that I am in my 40s and started to feel "age" creeping up, plus with the pandemic going on, I was advised that I should be taking between 2,000-4,000IU of vitamin D3, esp since I stay home most times and rarely spend time under the sun. What I like most about SR Vitamin D3 is that it is made of pure quality ingredients, it is small (and easy to swallow), and easy to add to my supplement regimen. My goal is to boost my immune system. I also added the elderberry + zinc of SR Research. So far all is well and I have no problems with taking it.

I have used Sports Research's Vitamin D3 in the past through a free trial offer, and I returned to purchase it again due to the quality of the product. I like that it uses coconut oil as an additive for absorption. I take a D3 supplement due to living in the Midwest and experiencing significantly less sun exposure throughout the winter months. Sports Research has been my choice for other supplements in the past, so when I found their D3 supplement at a competitive price I figured it would be a good fit. Nothing bad to say about the product.

This bottle of 360 capsules seems like fair to good value, particularly on sale or subscription. They definitely help my nails stay strong and not peel; in fact, I notice when I only miss a few days. I like that the capsules don't clump together, too.
