I received decent sized stones. I know thats not every package, but I wanted to try it for a natural deodorant. Either way, I will update this review.Update 07/16- I have been using this as a deodorant for 2 months. My experience has been mostly positive. This works as a deodorant for me. It does not keep me from sweating, it does keep me from smelling. I wet the stone slightly and rub it all over my underarm area and outsole of it too. I have noticed that I do need to exfoliate after a week or so. It has caused some build up even after washing and shaving. I started using this directly after a shower at first and I have since been waiting until the pores are closed after a shower and so far so good. Overall, I will continue to use this as my primary deodorant. I have tried probably 6 different natural deodorants and they have not been effective at keeping the smell away and they were either too thick or sticky. This is a great way to avoid all those icky ingredients that you really dont want on your skin.

this alum is high quality. bought it to make some remedy for stretch marks and Im super happy with the results
