I love this light! I like to get up early in the morning and read outside. This light is powered by the sun by day so it's fully charged for my early mornings. It is heavy enough to withstand our strong winds. There are three levels of light, the middle of which gives me enough light for most of my reading. I use it almost every day!

I use this exclusively as a solar light. It sits on a table near my door and can be used for social gathering in the dark, guidance to people who arrive at my door, and lasts for hours after gathering sunlight. It has a very nice switch for three light levels and it works well. You can also charge it via USB but I cannot see that this is very useful because you would have to remember to do that. If you have some sun, you need not remember anything, which is perfect for me.

Product was charged and ready to work upon arrival. Like that it can be charged by solar and cable, but so far have only used the solar. I find the brightest level good to read by, the lower levels provide more of an ambiance level. When reading via an electronic device (iPad etc) the lower level is fine. Haven’t had the power runout yet, have used it at night and then the following am for 6 hours or so without sunshine

Bought this lantern to use on our lanai in Hawaii as well as for camping trips and emergencies if we lose electrical power in our condo. It has a plastic frame and based with the bulb area completely sealed as well. Perfect for our oceanfront lanai. Loved the fact that that it has solar recharging and a C charging outlet along with a USB port. I can recharge it via a typical wall outlet or my hand held charger, plug my phone in it for recharging or leave it out in the sun for solar charging or plug it in while operating. The three levels of brightness is perfect. The price is just right. I ordered a second lantern to cover other areas of my condo and lanai. When not in use I stow them in my lanai cabinet and I cover it with a small, disposable plastic bag to keep the dust and unnecessary exposure to the salt air when not in use but it could be left outside on the table as well. Perfect lighting for reading, or having meals on the lanai at night. You can also hang this lantern on an extended wall hook on your lanai or when camping. It is not heavy. The price and function makes future replacement cost effective. Highly recommend this item.

I noticed most reviews are for the black color. I love white so I went with white- no regrets! It blends in nicely with all the house decor.I will say I prefer an even softer white - I like the GE Relax 2700K bulbs and in comparison this has a more greenish/ cooler hue. It’s not cold white, it’s very medium. probably it’s around 3200K.I intended this mainly as a portable reading lamp, and it’s bright enough for that when you keep it pretty close. Like others said, it’s not a room light. But it will light up maybe 3x3 ft square decently, so it serves its purpose for a little reading lamp, mood lamp, and carrying through dark hallways.But yeah I would have liked it just a tad warmer white, that would be more relaxing in the evening. Still it’s a cute and handy little lamp.

Love this light. It works great, and the different light settings are super easy to use. I've had it for about 4 months. I really like that it does give off a lot of light, specially for being solar powered. I barely even use it on the high setting as I feel like it's almost too bright, the low and medium is more than enough usually for working outside at night. I have on my patio table and it's rain a lot here in Palm Beach and this little light has had no issues at all. Love it!

This light is pretty bright on the third setting and has a incandescent look to it.I purchased this for Hurricane Ian as when I went through Irma I had regular Rayovac battery type lantern, which didn't last the week i was without power.This I could turn on at 8PM to wash dishes and I left it on just to see how long it would last. I came in the next morning at around 7AM when there was no sunlight, it was dimmer but still lit! Thank God I only lost power for a couple of hours when Ian hit.I left it in the kitchen window to recharge and by evening it lasted another 6 hours while I cooked, ate, and cleaned the dishes until I went to bed and had not dimmed at all.This is a keeper! I hope they make a larger lantern in the normal style that has a huge rechargeable battery. I sure hope it is built to last!

During power outage, we used this lamp was a night light. Not only did it last the whole night (on the lowest setting), it had enough power to use the following day. Very happy with the product. Solar charge comes in so handy during times like this. Highly recommend it.
