These filters are slightly larger than the manufacturer's; they fit a little more snugly than the originals.

So as I read other reviews, yes - they are made in China. What isn't? Also, I did verify they are the exact same size as the original Honeywell filters I currently am using. Even the pre filter was a perfect fit. As for the direction arrows, you don't need them. Tiny pull tabs on one side face out - this is how they are placed into the unit for ease of removal. Gave 4 stars because they advertise as original filters with the markings, etc.I assume they will work well - they look identical minus all the print on the originals. I am waiting until I move from the mold infected place I am now to actually use them. So far they seem right on the money!

Does the job and run air cleaner 24 - 7. Thank goodness for them, do not have to change too often. Use in the bedroom on air cleaner.
