Great Couch - Instructions Need Improvement
Darla Dee's review was SO HELPFUL.The instructions were not obvious about the utility fabric allowing you to access the bolt holes.Once I found her notes, putting the couch together took about 30 minutes. It feels sturdy, it's comfortable to sit on, the finish of the fabric looks and feels great.Once you have good instructions, it's quick to assemble.LOVE the all wood construction! No particle board!Repeating Darla's step-by-step instructions—1. Peel utility fabric from velcro on seat bottom.2. Screw seat back into seat bottom.3. Tip up on one side. Screw in arms.4. Tap wooden dowels into each side of front bar as seen in diagrams.5. Drop metal cylinder in hole. Tap front bar in place. Drill screw into hole with cylinder.6. Flip coach on other side. Place arms over holes.7. Drop metal cylinder in hole of front bar. Tap front bar in place.8. Screw in arms. Drill screw into hole with cylinder on front bar.9. Stand couch upright. Sit on on seat bottom to help get cushion closer to front bar.10. Using wood screws, drill in designated holes.11. Tap wood caps in arm holes on both sides.

Very satisfied. Good value for your money.
Once put together the sofa looks and feels solid. Quite heavy actually. The seating area is very firm, a bit short perhaps, if anything. This is not a comfy sofa to spends hours on it, but more like a resting area to have guests sit in and enjoy a nice conversation over tea or coffee. It is very decorative. I love the retro look and the sleek simple lines.Putting it together was moderately easy. I sprayed the fabric with a waterproof protector right away before assembling. I think you'll agree that you're getting good value for your money.

Looks great for the price, needs better instructions
We needed a simple couch for our 2nd floor landing/mezzanine and this was perfect. It looks great and more expensive than it actually costs. Instructions were pretty terrible so it does take some guessing work to figure it out. But it's not a difficult build at all. It's firm and more for decoration and short-term sitting, not so much for lounging around watching tv. Overall a great find if you're looking for a pretty piece to decorate a part of your home that doesn't get used for long durations.

great mid-century modern couch
I bought the couch to compliment the same loveseat so I knew what I was getting into regarding how firm it is, which with all their products in this line, it is VERY firm. However, for the price it is an awesome looking couch and not too hard to put together. I assembled it by myself, however two people would have made it easier as the cushion and seat are a bit large and somewhat awkward to be moving around by one person.

Looks and feels good, but not sure about quality.
I've only had the couch for a day. Came in a large box and was packaged smartly. One critical bolt wouldn't fully tighten, but it pieced together fairly easily. It required a little muscle. It looks great. I could see the average person not liking the stiffness, but it's still pretty comfortable. I told my wife it'd be perfect in an office or waiting room.I'd rate it higher if I wasn't concerned about the loose bolt.

Great sofa for a lobby.
Great sofa for a lobby. It is not too comfy, and that is a good thing. Most people think that the measure of good furniture is "comfort" (so squishy that you could take a nap). If it is going in your house, sure. But if it is going in a work environment, squishy is often a bad use-design strategy. The last thing that I wanted was folks flopped out like they are watching Saturday morning cartoons in my lobby. This sofa promotes good posture and a professional environment. Such a great value with sturdy construction and a professional-approachable look. I have purchased 2 so far and will likely purchase a 3rd.

Looks good for occasional use
Easy to assemble and extremely sturdy. Out of the box the seat cushion feel is firm largely because the padding is thin. Looks sharp. In constant, daily use the foam gets compressed making the seat look saggy, sloppy and uncomfortable.

Great quality – bad instructions (try these instead!)
Love how this little couch looks and feels! The satin finish of the faux leather looks gorgeous and the wood is beuatiful.Note that the instructions are terrible – it's as if they left out half the diagrams. Here's a quick run down of how we put it together.1. Tap wood caps in arm holes on both sides.ENJOY!
