This is something my granny use to fry the best food with !! The batter is flavorful, and you do not have to really season your meat. A must but n try!!

I'm 88 yrs. old. I use this because my mother used it for years, so that will tell you how long we have used Dixie Fry. It's the best coating to fry chicken with. I coat it, sprinkle it with garlic salt, brown it and then let it simmer covered for a little over an hour. You'll find it absolutely delicious and will fall off the bone. Super easy.

I remember Dixie Fry from when I was a kid, but it's not in the stores around here. I was glad to find it on Amazon, and it's as good as I remember.Dixie Fry is what other products wish that they could grow up to become.It is a seasoning, not an overpowering spackle coat. I used it with (thawed) boneless, skinless chicken breasts -- just two tablespoons of oil and 20 minutes in the frying pan. The leftovers brought a new taste to Asian fried rice! I can't wait to try it with "traditional" frying chicken.

I use Dixie Fry to make Fried Chicken.I couldn’t find it anywhere in the grocery stores. My mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother all used it. My daughter-in-law said check Amazon.I received it overnight.❤️

Can’t seem to find this anymore at the grocery stores so have been buying thru Amazon TG as we ❤️ this chicken coating. With a very small amount of oil and baking in the oven, it’s like fried chicken every time.
