My wife originally purchased this a few years ago and once I got my hands on it she never got it back. I ordered this one because I finally broke my wife’s ( I’m pretty rough on things) and had to replace it for her. She hasn’t been able to use this one either hahaha . Pros-It clips perfectly on any baseball cap I’m wearing, super bright, holds a good charge, recharges fast, very durable, small light weight, not bulky or awkward looking. Cons- I miss place it every so often for a day or two, people think it’s a camera if you forget to take it off your hat, beyond that I cant think of anymore Cons.

Ever read those Amazon reviews where the person tries to weave in a story that tries to make themselves look super cool using the product? Yeah, well this is one of those!I got to Hilo side Big Island and realized I had forgotten my regular headlamp. So since I always go to S Tokanuga Store, I checked what they had and I found this one. It was kinda pricey but I was intrigued by the design and how it was rechargeable. I wore it out photography the lava lake in Halemaumau on multiple nights and it was perfect. Since then I’ve had it 5 years and it’s still working great. But there’s a couple things to know about it: battery life is according to brightness and the battery doesn’t last long at all on high. Look at the chart and it’s pretty accurate. If you need hours of light on one charge you have to keep it in low power mode. Also it makes raindrops “strobe” in lower power modes and it can be distracting. But it’s waterproof, easy to operate, comfortable, clips on a hat brim, and in low light conditions I really like the green light option. Human eyes are most sensitive to green light so you can see well and use very little power.

I use this product for work and camping. I like how they charge quickly, light weight, and are quite bright for their size. The clip that eliminates the head band and allows you to just have it on the brim of your hat is amazing. You can hardly tell it’s on there.
