JeCar Metal Tail Light Guard Cover Compatible with Jeep Wrangler 2018-2023 JL Sport/Sports - Pair (Rugged Off Road)

Double sided tape fails to fully attach to the item.

I recently ordered the JeCar Metal Tail Light Guard Cover for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL. The merchant was very nice and helpful to answer my questions promptly and ship this product out to me quickly. When it arrived, it was packaged very well. I knew when I looked at it that it was going to be a welcome addition on my jeep. I was able to put both guard covers on myself. You install the covers with something like two sided tape, but I went ahead and added some gorilla glue to give make them even more secure. They fit on my JL like a glove and look awesome. I would definitely recommend and buy again!!

Had them for a couple of weeks now and they look great on my ‘18 Sahara JL. No issues with them falling off as some of the other reviews say. I’d just be sure to clean the application area very very well before installing. Does seem there could be a thicker “sticky” area so it holds better too, but so far so good.

There ok. One of mine were bent a little when I received it. It’s just peel and stick tape. The tape is already attached you just have to peel the backing off. For the price there ok but cheap. There basically for decoration, I wouldn’t count on them really protecting the lens of the lights. The tape is NOT VERY GOOD. UPDATE - As stated the double sided stick tape SUCKS! Don’t buy these! Already lost one. They need to come up with another design. You WILL end up losing one of them if not both. Spend a little more money on better ones or toss your $20 out the window while your driving.

Was a bit surprised that they didn't even cover the entire light on my 2021 JL and they just rest in the recess inside the light. Seems kinda pointless if the edge of your light gets hit by a branch, but caveat emptor. Figured I didn't zoom in on the the picture, so that's on me. Cleaned the area, went to install. Pressed the left cover on into the light and it promptly fell out. The battle that then ensued was one for the ages. The gnashing of teeth, cursing, and flinging of adhesive that simply wouldn't stick to the car, but would to my skin with no problem, was cause for dismay. Neighbors peered out of their windows from the safety of their curtains at the antics. Finally, I conceded, dropped them back into their final resting place, and sent them home.
