Replaced my old clock which died. Fits nicely between my two sliding doors.

This chiming clock is a replacement for a Howard-Miller that had been in my husband’s family for many years. Unfortunately, one evening in came crashing down to the floor. Our new one keeps accurate time, is easy to read & the hourly chimes make our hearts sing!

I love my clock It is easy to set up and the tone of the Westminster chimes are very realistic It only weighs 12 pounds so is not difficult to hang

Order of December 17, 2021 and delivery were text book perfect. Pendulum did not work upon arrival. Per instructions provided with clock, manufacturer was notified. Mfr Rep advised us to take or send clock to specified local repair facility. Technician at repair facility unavailable for one week from original call due to personal health problems. Additional several day delay for appointment to repair. Presently waiting for local repair facility to receive replacement movement from Howard Miller Co. Have additional wait period to complete repair and insure correct operation. Technician very professional, courteous and responsive. Very unhappy about time lapsed since 12/17/21 and still do not have operational clock as of 01/22/2022.PERSONAL DISLIKE: Inability to fine tune frequency of chimes. chiming on 1/4 hr increments is too often. On the hour only works fine but additional chiming at 1/2 hr would be nice feature. Overall quality does not justify the cost for this item. Overall appearance of cheap replica. Howard Miller clock being replaced has been operating for past 42 years with no repairs and was truly a quality timepiece.

I didn't realize that the face on this clock is so much smaller than most clocks and the hands aren't very dark. I can't read the time as easily as I used to with my 45 yr. old clock. This clock is nicely made, and the sound is really good. The only complaint about the sound is that, instead of letting the "bongs" taper off slowly, it cuts out after the last strike. I guess that's the compromise you made with a hand wound clock compared to a battery run clock. Also, I wish the clock would strike on the hours (only) all night long. The sound isn't loud enough to wake you up unless turned up all the way.
