Essential replacement item
The ear cushions on my old Sony studio cans don’t live forever. This is the third set of replacements I’ve had to buy over the lifetime of the ‘phones. (Dunno how old they are, but I’ve had them for at least a decade or two). So glad these replacement cushions are available - they give new life to my old standby 7506’s.

annoying to clean black pleather residue on my face and ...
The stock pads on my MDR-V6's started to peel away and leave, while rather amusing, annoying to clean black pleather residue on my face and floor, so I decided it was time for a replacement. I'd already replaced these pads once, so I knew the deal. Couldn't remember which pads I ordered last time, but I wanted to make sure to keep away from those since they fell apart in what seemed to be only 1.5-2 years. So I went with the Cosmos replacement pads. Definitely weren't the ones I had before, so I was immediately relieved and happy with the purchase. They were much easier to put on than the pads I had put on with my first replacement. All-in-all a good purchase, probably will consider this same replacement in another couple years when the pads on these start to fall apart again. Only reason this review is 4 stars: As soon as I had them installed and put on, my ear hit a rather uncomfortable seam on the inner pad that took some adjusting to get the pad to sit exactly right for my ear. So, not perfect, but for the price it's fantastic.

Simply perfect and a great buy.
My old, original pads were crumbling and itty-bitty chunks of them were shedding all over me, so at just $7 I had to see just how good or bad these new pads could be.First, they fit my 20 year old Sony MDR-7506 phones just the same as the originals did... perfectly! The foam padding is about the same density, maybe slightly firmer which feels nice (keeping in mind the old ones are 20yrs old). This restored the isolation of phones... it's great that outside sound is blocked out like it's supposed to be.In center speaker area they have the same acoustically transparent cloth, except that on the back/inside they lack the thin (3mm) acoustically transparent foam backing. This has no affect on the sound for me, after all the foam was acoustically transparent. :)I just couldn't see paying $20 to $35 bucks for pads when these were available for so much less.Best of all my phones are like new again, and for just $7... cool!

Good replacement for Sony MD-7506
I bought these to replace the ear cushions on my Sony MD-7506 headphones. The original cushions were shedding the coating, so I had black flakes everywhere. These fit perfectly in place of the old cushions. It takes some patience to get the outer piece into the groove on the headphones, but that's true of any cushion. The new cushions are comfortable and feel like the originals. Time will tell if they suffer the same shedding problem of the originals.

They’re ok
— Not for Sony MDR 7506 — (But fit)I’m going to order the right size pads and use these for backup.Pros:Make headphones lighter and easy to install.Cons:Small, thin and have headphone bleed. Different size from original pads

Also Fits Roland RH-200 Headphones
These replacement ear pads also fit the Roland RH-200 headphones. The inside opening after installation is a little bigger than the originals, but that only results in a better fit on my ears. The synthetic leather covering and foam padding appear to be identical to the original Roland pads and the sound quality is the same. I use them for private practice on a 46 year old Rodgers electronic organ and they are very comfortable for hours of practice, even better than the originals. I expect that they will also degrade over time like the originals, but for the price I can replace them as needed. Installation is not difficult, but requires patience to stretch the material over the retaining lip without damaging the thin pad covering.

Corsair Void Pro Replacement
This review is for the Sony MDR-V6 variant.I saw these were a very similar in size to the original Void Pro headset pads, and since I'm not a fan of the original mesh material I thought I'd give these a try. They work perfectly!I had to stretch them quite a bit to fit over the odd shape of the headset but they never tore. They may look a little off but the actual speaker sits dead center of these pads, corsair just felt the need to make a huge odd frame around it. The headset feels lighter and these fit my head better then the huge originals.Unfortunately I can't comment on how these fit the headset they were made for but the material and size are perfect for what I wanted. Highly Recommend.
