Spring loaded door knobs.
Great product and easy(ish) to fit.Only two things I would note:1. The supplied screws were too long and didn't go fully in due to hitting the bolt. Bit of a hoarder so managed to find some that did fit.2. Most handles/knows have longer bolt screw fixings that connect knobs to each other for a bit of additional strength. These don't have those so time will tell on how durable they really are.Love the spring loaded which prevents the dog from opening the door (she's a sneaky thing).Pretty good value for money.

Excellent value
These handles are great value and look really nice. The screws were a bit tricky to get in but hubby managed by using a home-made template!

Good metal handle
This was ok the value. Used to fit to make shed as I want a metal sturdy hand. Was a bit tricky to install and we where fitting to a lock. The lock worked well and fitted.

A bit stiff but can be remedied. Great value.
Excellent value for money. A bit stiff to turn as both knobs are sprung but this can be remedied. With a pair of circlip pliers the circlip can be removed and the spring disengaged on one of them. Leave the spring in but not engaged to act as a spacer to stop the knob rattling. One sprung knob is just right as it offers springiness to both knobs as they are both connected via the spindle. I am surprised that the manufacturer does not sell the pair with just one sprung knob and save on manufacturing costs. They look good and have bought 3 sets so far. I may buy more to replace my "tired" brass knobs elsewhere in my house. By the way the knobs are 53mm and faceplate 58mm in diameter. Added 25/2/24 after a few people have asked. They still look like new after a few years.

Doesn't do what is supposed to
The product appears to be visually appealing, but unfortunately, it does not function properly. I purchased two sets of this product. The problem is that it is incredibly difficult to turn the knob. It requires a significant amount of strength to do so. Even after installing the knobs, we encountered great difficulty in opening the door. In an attempt to resolve the issue, we removed the knobs, followed a suggestion from a carpenter friend, and applied WD40. However, even after reinstalling the knobs, the same problem persisted. This became a serious issue when my 21-year-old son got locked in his room because he couldn't turn the knob. Similarly, the same problem occurred with the knob in the bathroom, where it took two people to open the door—one person inside and another outside, both turning the knob simultaneously.Initially, I reached out to the seller for assistance through the support link provided on Amazon. Unfortunately, their response was unsupportive, as they only sent a brief email stating that I had to deal with Amazon directly. Consequently, I requested a refund. Ultimately, I found the entire experience to be a waste of time, and I cannot recommend this product. I advise you to read other reviews as it seems that other customers have encountered similar issues.

stiff return spring
excellent mortice door knob set, but be aware the spring in these knobs is very stiff, not good for anyone with arthritis in the hands
